Are Clan Wars Overused

On average, I probably spend between 6-800K elixir for wars, unless I roll hogs or a Gowipe, dragons are expensive, but winning wars is the only thing that matters to me, otherwise I probably wouldn't play the game, but usually I get 700k gold 700k elixir and 1600-3500 Dark elixir, so technically I profit from wars. We have lost 4 wars and tied 2, when that happens I lose elixir/DE, but that's not the norm.

I don't get how serious back-to-back war clans farm lol. I guess they deal with it or use cheaper armies

The war I am currently in, the first attack cost me 400k, I will get 312K gold, 312K elixir and 1.14K DE, on my second attack I plan to go up and hit a TH10 for at least one star, the bonus will be 402k/402k 1.68k DE. I will walk away with 712k gold, lose or break even on elixir, and gain 1000-1500 DE. Not bad for one day without worrying about getting hit because I knocked off my shield by farming.

Incidentally, its rare i see thread like this made by someone in an 'always' war clan. Im sure theres a connection that we're not quite grasping.

I think the fact that they let the clan decide how often they want to war is great. So, no, I think it shouldn't be once a week. It should depend on each clan to decide for themselves. My clan personally war twice a week and I think that's about right. Most of us has been warring since day one and we used to do back to back war. Some of us agree it was too much so we changed to twice a week and it's been that way since.

Every clan has their own thing going on. For a not-so-serious player, back to back war is probably too stressful, but you can see it's still not enough for some hardcore players. So you can't use one size fit all solution here. Leave it be. I am pro choice.

join a clan that only wars once a week
or make a clan, and make it war only once a week

Some people like farming, some people like wars...

I think clans should be able to war as often as they like, just a shame that there is still no opt in/out button so that clans dont have to be ripped apart whilst trying to agree on the frequency...
