How long did you take to get from your boring TH1 to your awesome TH 8/9/10 bases?

Once you get to TH 9 things slow down and take a while to max. From Th1 to Th8 it took me 5-6 months to max. Ive been on my th9 right now for 6 months alone.. max defenses and all.. max king, my queen is 26 and have 120 level 10 walls left to do and im a pretty daily farmer and spend 2-3 hours a day farming. I suggest you max everything before moving up :)
It's taken me 18 months to get to a nearly maxed TH9, however I did have a 6 month break. So I would say 10-12 months if you play quite a lot.
26 months from TH1 to max lab and structures TH10... my walls and heroes are not maxed as I don't really care much about them. Heroes are L20/23 and walls are full legos, partial lava and 10 zaps.
This is without ever boosting racks, or using any purchased gems.
I was at TH8 for 5 months, TH9 for 6 months, and have been at TH10 for 8 months. I had two breaks of one month without any play.
Over a year. I know people can do it in just a few months though, there are some crazy hardcore farmers out there that are champions and have been playing since the summer.

Th1-7 is really quick, 8 takes about as long as those combined, and 9 seems to being going fast for me, but maybe that's because it's become my favorite TH level. but I have purchased gems.
20,000 gems or so
and I have 4500 gems left
I believe it's necessary to buy gems. even just to get all 5 builders straight away.
(I didn't buy the 5th until th8)
but it has really helped.

Exactly a year, I reach maxed TH9 (except walls, heroes and some lab DE stuff).

I started playing August 1 and I upgraded my maxed TH7 to TH8 on Halloween, so that took me about 3 months. Then TH8 took me about 2 months but I didn't fully max it, I upgraded when I finished lvl 8 walls. Now I'm just happily farming legos. About a week from now will make 6 months of playing.
If I traced my progress for my 1st account, it actually took only around 2~ months to get to th9, of course it's not an awesome base ~ semi-rushed. It then took around 6 months to max every defenses @ th9 and another good 2-3 months for walls ~ all legos & some lavas.
So overall, it took me roughly a year as a new th10!
Now @ TH10, im just taking my time, I farm only when I feel like it. I mainly do wars lately & slowly upgrading every possible structures I could afford.
So far its only been ~8 weeks to get to nearly end of max Th7 on my alt acct. Hindsight is golden.Quote:
