So, maybe I might understand not maxing them, but keeping them at level 2? They're a good defense, especially against barch or for redirecting un-suspecting troops. They have the highest DPS in the game, they are good against PEKKAS, and they can give attackers a nasty surprise when attacking. Think of it as an Archer Tower that does more DPS at higher levels, less range, but is undetectable.
They are the best against pekkas and low HP troops. I have maxed them at the middle of my upgrading plan. In TH10 they are on my priority list after infernos and splash. Their look is amazing and once they spring up most attackers will be scared. Only problem is upgrade time. Do them as soon as possible as you need about 1.5 month+ to max them
Well they won't do much at lvl2, that's like saying a lvl7 archer tower isn't helping with defence at th9, it's way underlevelled. They are relatively cheap but take a long time, however they are well worth doing.

Don't neglect your Teslas like I did. I'm keeping 1 builder on teslas for the next 3 months and they'll be maxed for TH9
High Level Teslas are great and all, but they are the last on the list of weapons i would chose to upgrade. Very small range, with an even smaller trip radius, they have very low hit points so they are taken out fast. Most of the time you only see 2 or 3 unless they are stacked right next to each other. Crazy long build times. They are a good complimentary weapon, but by no means a top priority if you have other, better weapons to upgrade.
i have a level 40 queen, and i dread her tripping a high level tesla and not being able to get out of the way more than i do a multi inferno.. maxed teslas are a nightmare...Quote:
