I have L2 teslas at th9. I have never seen them do too much to anything. I was just wondering, are they important to upgrade? If you need more info ask

I've noticed once you hit lvl4 and lvl5, the damage is crazy effective. I'm getting all of mine to lvl 3 right now.
I like em a lot. They have a high DPs and fire rate so low leveled troops die much faster with higher level teslas and the new Archer Tower. They also have one of the highest DPS in the game so there's that too. The biggest thing is that now that in higher levels, air raids are much more common, teslas offer a substitute for the cannon and mortar so there's more firepower raining down on quatro lava loonion attacks
They have high dps... definitely worth upgrading.
Easily one of the best defenses imo. At higher levels they rip through troops. Only downside is the long upgrade times. I highly recommend you get upgrading them.

Yes, they are worth it ... lvl6 Tesla does same damage as AT lvl11.....
The time they take to upgrade is their only drawback .... ( tend to do them last...... )

Teslas are very important because of the very high fire rate and dps. At low levels they're not very good, but once you get them to lvl5-7, you begin to see their effectiveness. If you are planning on maxing your townhall, teslas should be done after mortars, wiz towers, and xbows. It's your choice whether to do max teslas or air defences first.
Mine are all level 7. Trust me, they are worth it.
