I think that while you are viewing your teammates base, and you notice their cc is empty or low on troops, yet they have not requested troops - you should be able to donate to it. You just click on their cc and hit a donate button to drop troops in there for him.
I think this would develop another level of team building and help your teammates to defend. Thanks,

People can abuse it by simply donating to everyone in every clan they join, then leave the clan, then join another clan and repeat. People are already doing this with Giants.
Oops forgot to replywith quote: @ edomingox - I don't see the difference in logging in to see if you have been attacked, requesting and then logging off. For those tight nit clans this is a great feature. For those who just dump troops - we can now remove them!! So I don't see the issue.
