Laboratory or DE drill first?

I recently got TH7 and I've been working on getting all the extra defenses I bought leveled up. But now I have enough elixir to upgrade my lab to lvl 5, but I was wondering if I should save up my elixir for the DE drill instead? What do you guys think I should do? Thanks for any help!

Get the lab upgraded yesterday.

The lab takes far longer then the builders at th7/8 (depending on number of builders) so get those troops upgrading ASAP.

Upgrade laboratory first. Raiding is a mess with TH6 troops. It's much easier with TH7 upgraded troops.

For future reference, lab should always be the first upgrade. This way, you can start the trainings Asap and keep dumping excess elixir once you have your initial troops. Plus, trainings don't take a builder so you should always be training something until it's all done for your th level

This. I treat my lab like a 6th builder, and I keep track of how updates are moving so when one finishes I have the elixir for the next ready.
