They've been starting to spend A LOT of money on Boom Beach advertisements. How do I know?
So far, I've only seen their ads during Football games. Do you know how much they costs?
Sunday Night Football costs $627,300 per 30 second ad.
Thursday Night Football is $483,333 per 30 second ad.
Regular season noon and afternoon games were upwards of $150-200k per slot.
I can't imagine the costs for an NFC championship game, which I saw a Boom Beach commercial during the Green Bay - Seattle game, they even had a sponsored mention as the game returned.
Why am I mentioning this? Because even with all this high dollar spending, the game is still no where close as awesome as Clash of Clans. Until the new innovations of Boom Beach can prove itself to be a class above the rest, they won't take features from there and bring it over to Clash of Clans, risking destroying COC's appeal.
Hell, Game of War is trying really hard. There hasn't been an NFL game I've watched this year that didn't play at least THREE 30 second commercials, including Sunday and Monday night games, which costs over half a million for each slot. Not to mention they paid Kate Upton 50 million dollars to be in their commercials. Yet they still can't surpass Clash of Clans!
