New Troop (I promise you this is original).
I've been thinking what new troops could they add to the game that's not basically a reskin of a troop we already have. Any high damage air troop with high health is basically a dragon, Any high damage air troop with low health is balloon and ect. So what mechanics are left to make a new troop? Here's my shot.
The Idea
Basically this troop stays a distance away from the base and bombs it with a mortar. Now I see the problem with this. If they cant be killed by the defenses then they're mega OP. Please continue on for the fix to this.
The way it works
This troop has no health. It survives on a life link. The way I envision it is, you drop the New Troop and what ever you drop directly after it is what its life is linked to. So if i drop the New troop and a Barb, when that barb dies so does the New Troop.
To keep people from abusing the new troop there are rules. It cannot link to another New Troop. So if I place 2 of the New troops back to back then they wont link to each other. They also wont start attacking until they are linked to something.
I suck at stats and stuff so you guys can come up with cost and damage and all that good stuff.
Edit: I suck at stats but since you guys are worried about OPness I agree that it should have a high housing space. Only one troop can be linked to another at a time so that way people dont link 5 new troops to one golem and just heal the ♥♥♥♥ out of the golem.
