Perhaps learn how to tell time and get a clock to see when you log in and then log out when you are at 6 hours. Don't even have to take off your socks to do the math, since you don't need to count past 10.

By the way if you talk about spending gems online you get hecklers. Most likely not adults if you can't tell. Just ignore them, everyone just ignores them.
It happens to everyone. But not everyone complains about it...
I find it annoying when a game tries to force players to play continously for a fixed amount of time. What if something unexpected happens and one cannot continue playing? There goes a good chunk of your boost.
Yet it would be extremely easy for SC to make boost pause automatically when logging off (pausing is already implemented!). Or even pause whenever the building becomes idle (ie. Barrack's boost pauses when queue is empty or when camps are full). That would be the best, since boost would never go to waste, one could have barracks "boosted" 24/7 and play whenever one likes to.
With that kind of convenience players would be using boosts all the time, instead only when they can pull off a 2 hour session.
Pausing would be great or even an option of only boosting for 45 minutes or an hour...which is still a really long time to play at once. I've done two hour boosts before - it's so incredibly long but I figure I wasted my builders efforts removing all those pesky bushes if I didn't stay that whole two freakn'hours.
Paying to be able to do that is um, real special.
I totally agree that I would spend more on boosting if it paused for me. I'd waste a lot more time attacking bases for fun also.. It is basically a take it or leave it 2 hour boost, it forces you to use all your time at once. Or lose it.
If you get booted off, you should get the boost paused. Wouldn't be hard to add, and would be good for the players.
