Level 3 Xbows or wait?

Upon becoming a TH9 I immediately started my xbows and then upgraded them to level 2. My first completed lvl2 today. I've got 5.6mil gold and could easily enough get enough to upgrade it to 3. Or should I use that builder to continue getting my base up to spec. My new AD is still level two, AT lvl6. A builder is staying on the WT until it hits 6, building to five now. Just dedicated a builder to my new Tesla, it will start lvl 2 tonight. So xbow, AD, DE pump(both lvl3) or start mortars? I want to do the xbow but the 14 day build time is making me hesitate with all I still have to do just to get to full TH8 specs. My TH8 was maxed defensively and all my new walls are skulls with ten or so legos. Army camps already upgraded along with research center and spell factory.

As a higher level th9, I know from experience that level 7 mortars and wizard towers are extremely helpful in holding loot. Get those to lvl 7 then go for xbows.

I'd do WT and mortars before xbows. xbows can wait

Forgot I needed four million to take my new WT to lvl6 tomorrow and spent 1.5mil to take the new Tesla to lvl2 a few minutes ago. Spent some built up elixir to upgrade a DE pump to level four. Once the new WT is at six I'll start rotation them to lvl 7. Once my second xbow is done in two days I'll stick that builder on the AD until it's at six. In between hero upgrades the other builder will finish catching up the AT and then work on mortars. Sheesh this is a lot!

Xbow can wait;)

Level 2 should suffice for now, I basically went through the whole beginning stage of TH 9 with LV. 1 x-bows, they got me through it. If you do them to 3, that's hasta lavista to those builders for two weeks, meanwhile you could've spend that time to get more of your defenses up to scratch. The x-bows can wait for later.

Just get both the x-bows done once and for all as TH9.

When I reach TH9, I did both continuously for 31 days (7+10+14).
After that only WT, mortar, and other buildings.
But since I have 5 builders: 2 on x-bows, 3 for others, there isn't much bottleneck.

I prioritized maxing both my xbows to level 3 once i became th9...i stayed in gold 2-3 league where gi/barch/bam (th8/9) is very common and they're doing a great job against such army composition. Also, I felt that they would be decent replacements as im now going to max 2 of my splash defenses (curr 4 level5 mortars & 4 level6 wt) at the same time.

I was in the same boat as you. And I wanted to get them out of the way so I upgraded them to lvl 3 and I'm really happy I did so. I have 9 days left on 1, 12 left on the other. You will upgrade them to lvl 3 eventually, might as well get them out of the way if you have the gold for it. I've been in Gold 2/3 for raiding FYI + clan war bonus

I didn't at the moment. Had to spend to loot on a WT and Tesla. The low level AT and AD are just irritating me. I'll probably let the WT finish to 6 and go onto the AT and then AD to get all the new stuff to TH8 standards and then do the xbows. I don't know why I want them so bad but I do. Of course I'll mix in a few legos and royals upgrades in between. Going to be a long but fun road.
