I stopped playing 1 year ago. What changed? Should I come back?

Hi everyone!

I was extremelly addicted to this game! I really loved CoC, my clan mates, raiding, etc.
I started playing mid-2013 and left the game around march 2014 (when College started)
I left the game because it wasn't fun anymore to me, maxed TH8 with (I think) all purple walls, really long training and upgrading times.

I didn't miss the game, but now I feel "curious" about playing it again, but I think a lot of things changed since I left the game!

The last update I played was when Clan Wars were introduced.


So, my question is: what changed in the game since 1 year ago?

I'm not looking for a cold list of changes in every update, I want to know how the game-play changed, what's better, what's worse, it's more fun that last year? Less? Are there better troops? New ones? They nerfed or improved troops?

Should I continue playing with my old maxed TH8 with purple walls (and looong upgrading times) or should I start over with a new town?

Help me with this decision! :rolleyes: Should I come back?

As for your questions...

A lot of changes and a lot of stress (as far as some updates in the past year have gone),
Over all for the better of the game in the end.

As far as coming back, Me and pretty much everyone else will say the same thing...

and make sure u upgrade ur collectors lvl 12!! Arrived

Loot has got significantly easier to come by.

i just started in may so idk about what all changed.

but I know clan wars is new for you and I think that is reason to come back. I am just a new th9 (i know still a noob) but clan wars is one of the most exciting part of the games. I think you should find a clan that wars once or twice a week. My reason is that you aren't warring always so you can still upgrade heroes and stuff and not worry but you still get to enjoy what is (imo) the best part of clash.

Anyway I think you should come back.

Although to be selfish...if you do quit again please put your collectors and storages in a corner by themselves. But seriously just come back and clash with all of us!

I would definitely say come back. First thing you should do is start upgrading all your collectors to level 12. This will help with some of the loot problem you were facing so you can finish your walls and any other upgrades you have not yet done (you have a 4th mortar and some skeleton traps you can do for sure). It will take a couple weeks for your collectors to upgrade so you can see what you think of the game while those are upgrading. If you are enjoying it again then stick around.
