TH8 vs TH8: Need help to 3 star this base

Hi Guys...Need help to 3 star this base in war. I'm a maxd out TH8 with all troops at max possible lvl for a TH8.

if you can get some high lvl loons in your cc id try a dragoon from the south and either light the top ad or snipe it with a couple hogs.

Hi i'm the leader of my clan "Regime Omega". Here is our war log since we've encountered this base alot

How to attack this base?
This particular base has his air defense spread. Because of this, i personally will use 3x rage spells. Why? Because you want to quickly kill the defenses and air defense QUICKLY so you have enough dragons to ensure the 3 star.

Troop composition to use

- 10 level 3 dragons
- MAX hogs in CC
- 3 rage spells

How should you attack it

1. Deploy dragons at 9 o clock, 10 o clock and 11 o clock.
2. Rage spell your dragons to get the 2 air defense thats near 10 o clock !
3. Once CC troops are lured and killed deploy your hogs at 4 o clock and RAGE them which will kill off the archer tower then the air defense.
4. You will have all air defense destroyed which should ensure the 3 star

Thanks for the reply mate. I planned somethng simlar and executed in same fashion. With only 2 changes.
I took 9 dragons and 4 balloons in place of 10th dragon.

And in CC too, i took max lvl balloons.

I used CC loons, in same area as u suggested with hogs for 3rd AD. And used 4 loons in my camp to snipe one other AD, while being tanked by Dragons.

However, i ended up only doing 1 star...:(
Reason: D loons didnt go to AD as their 2nd defense building. After taking down archer tower, they went for cannon...same for both loon units :( That spoiled the whole attack.

I think hogs will follow the same pattern, as Loons and Hogs have same minds for choosing targets. We stil have many more attacks in the war. So still need to figure out how to crack this one.



Its so important...because...its a war of 15 vs 15.....and 4 of the opponents have this identical design...lol

I'd use loons to kill the lower mortar and the two cannons (6 total) as well as do the cc pull. Then I'd kill CC and drop 2 golems at the likely locations for the double giant bombs by the double AT's. Time your wbs right to let the golems in with a few wiz as backup to kill those AT's - I'd also use my BK to help on one of those sides. After those AT's have gone down I'd release my hogs from the top in 2 groups and you got the base destroyed. 20 hogs should do the trick and I'd use 5 max hogs in my CC as well.

5 cc at the 12 oclock (deploy at 11 o'clock position, they will go for cannon n then ad) heal spell use barb king to distract cannons while ur hogs do their job. 10 drag with 2 rage come in from the 6 o'clock ( deployed from 8 and 4 o'clock. Guaranteed 3 star. Base is way too ez

I cant gurantee you, that will give you 3 stars, but i would go with mass drags and lightning spells. With LS i would take down 1 AD(the most exposed baside DE), then i would try to lure out troops with 5 archers. These troops wont kill then, so next step are 2 dragons, that kill these troops(i hope) and go around the base. The main attack starts with the rest 9 dragons.

With proper dragon attack you should take down that base with 3 stars imo. I really dont recommend it using dark troops, because you need a DE.

should have sent the loons at the cannons, they would have pathed cannon, at, ad and as long as the ad was aggrod on the dragons the loons would make it.

I think hogs are best for this type of base.

I would gowipe and take the guaranteed 2 ....just make sure you have a rage down so the WBs will open the base up like a tin can
