barching storage possible?

I don't have much experience with barch but i find it hard to barch to reach the storage of a TH same level as me. As a TH8, I have no issue with barching to the storage of a TH7, but reaching the storage of another TH8 is quite difficult.

For those barching experts out there, is there something i can do with barch, or this composition is just too weak to reach the storages? From my experience as a TH8, I have yet to find a successful barch raid from a TH8 (and above) against my base.

BTW, I dont have the time/patience to look for those collector raids. There are not that many such bases available nowadays. Thanks.

I'd recommend having a combo of Rage+Heal with your Barch and preferably 6/8 WB if you want to rob any decent TH8+ base with that strategy.

I'd say, add in 8 Giants to the mix, 6 WBs, Barch, and Rage+Heal spells. Also, preferably around 4 Wizards to add more pushing power to your army. I also recommend putting Rage Spells on your WB's path if possible, this way, they can easily OHKO walls and if fortunate, and instant entrance to the core/deeper layers of the base. From there on, just pour in Barch+Wiz and pour some healing soup if they start dying.

You don't need a lot of fancy, expensive, and long to cook troops. Barbs, archers, some WB's, king (if available) and a few heals.

The strategy is pretty straight forward:

Select the location you want to break through.
Lay down a line of barbs/archers. They will start to clear the outer buildings.
While they work, double tap some WB's. I usually squirt out three double taps.
Once the hole is punched through and the outer buildings near the hole are cleaned up, drop your king.
Start laying down barbs, then archers. If they get clustered near the core, activate the kings ability and drop a heal on the group.
Clean up as needed.

Now, before you say anything, I know the numbers are not great in the following pics. I am going for DE storages and pushing my cup count up so I am really just nabbing targets of opportunity. But, with few exceptions,

Spells are nice to have but aren't really an efficent way to barch. Kinda takes the point out of it. Just add a few giants, wallbreakers, and King. With a little practice you'll be coring easy. That being said, of course I fill my factory with one of each (zap, heal, rage, jump) to use in a jam. 90% of the time I won't even drop a single one though. Clash is all about that bottom line lol. As a former user of BARCH I understand your concern. Depending on the base set it can be difficult to get to the center of some bases, and searching for bases which the majority of the loot is in the collectors can be long and expensive(cost to hit next). You can take some wall breakers with you to help move your troops along. Bring along a heal spell or two to keep your troops protected. What I use is BAWG consisting of 8 wall breakers, 12 giants, a heal spell or two, and the rest barbs and archers. Just check the CC for troops, send in your giants, drop wall breakers in two at a time followed by a wave of barbs and archers behind the giants. I guess this confirms what I thought: barching to reach storages in not possible, unless hitting bases with one TH below and even then, if that base has max defense, taking all storages is unlikely.

As for using spells, it defeats the whole purpose of barch since spells cost a lot and take a lot of time too cook. I find it much more efficient to carry an extra 6 giants + 6 wall breakers.

It depends on the layout more than TH level imo. I also consider splashing in a few Giants/wbs a barch strategy still. You wouldn't call BARCHing with 5-10 minions BAM would you? Bc it's not lol. The only time you will see people running nothing but barbs and bows are people that are:
A.) sniping
B.) picking off 50% to inflate cups
C.) going only for collectors
D.) farming super low lgs

My barch army changes frequently. Right now it's 76 barbs, 76 archers, 8 giants, 4 breakers. Spells are usually unnecessary.

For bases the same level, pick the storages you want to get to and Barch from that side, if they have their storages bunched up together all the better, check out the mortar placement and the wizard tower levels as well. A level 5+ king really helps too as do th8 with level 5 or 6 walls

In silver 2-1 there's an inactive base barchable by a town hall 8 every 5 skips...

Boost heroes, or boost the spell factory for a rage, heal, or jump spell (I'm best with rage).
You need something to suplement the barch attack.
