Do you mean in a situation where people don't want someone to be the leader, they can vote for who leads? Not a bad idea.
This is an awful idea, and I would probably quit the game if this was added.
Groups of trolls could move from clan to clan, who vote for one of them to be leader. Next thing you know everyone's gone and the clan is extinct.

I agree this is not a good idea for several reasons, some already mentioned. If you don't like your leader, leave your clan. Post a message (or send a clan mail if possible) saying what your new clan name will be and if others agree with you, you will have a new clan. If you start and build a clan it should not be allowed for it to be taken from you, regardless of the reason. Being a leader and building a good clan isn't easy, try it out yourself and you may change your view on this.
You know, if you make the clan yourself, wouldn't you be elected the leader automatically?
