I have never been that high in trophies but:

In all honesty, I would seriously consider dropping down if that happens. What's the point of having cups if you can't attack anyone?

Best thing about this is that you can't drop down in trophies if you don't find a village to attack... Once you got to a certain point, it takes ages to even drop back... ^^
Oh and don't think that breaking your shield and letting yourself get attacked will work, as you can't break your shield if you don't find any village to attack lol :p
