Allow co-leader and leader to remove war cc troops

I haven't seen it in ruled out ideas, nor a suggestion when I search, so here goes.

Dont you find it annoying when you recruit new members and they dont read other members troop requests? Even worse when they donate the wrong troops to war defense clan castles and you've got troops queued up ready for donating.

I would like to be able to remove cc troops from the war clan castle, as well as the co-leader being able to do the same, instead of having to wait for that member to come online and remove them themselves.

Such a simple idea but would save a lot of hassle.

Sometimes would like to redesign other's war bases too, but that would definitely be too far.

That means the co-leaders and leader rules over ALL the bases and can also remove good troops. I understand for the archers but this is too much power given to them. Also, the owner of the base knows what troops are best to defend his base, not you. Let the owner make his own decision.

Well if the leader happens to be a good leader, he isn't very likely to remove good troops. As for the owner of the base knowing whats best to defend their base, what if they don't? And what if the leader decides an adjustment needs to be made depending on the match up you get for war?
Good leaders should know whats best in a lot of cases and are more likely to suggest adjustments depending on war match ups.
Thats what leaders are there for, to lead.

I want to give this idea a HUGE thumbs up. This is my biggest frustration as we build our clan. People coming in who want to "help" by dropping their troops in. Then I end up with camps that I have to dump. The current situation also allows rogue members to come in and put level 1 goblins in and create a mess that it requires 50 people to get involved in cleaning up.

Someone above mentioned that this is too much power to give a leader or co-leader. I'm sorry that you recruit by promising that every person who comes into your clan be given a co-leader role, but that is YOUR problem.

Co-leader and leader should absolutely have this control. This along with the recent update will allow the leaders of a clan full control over the war. It would be FANTASTIC.

I agree that this may be too much power towards bad leaders, however towards good leaders that actually know what they're doing and take huge responsibility in preparing their clan for each war, this would be a great addition to the clan war features.

It's not your base. Your losses have ZERO impact on you personally. The impact is 100% on your clan. But you probably don't know that because you are IN A FARMING CLAN.

Anyone who is in a clan where this decision is left to the player, if you are serious about war, come check us out.

So you are telling me that you have low level people in your clan who continually donate bad troops to clan castles and you're solution is to give the leader/co-leader power to override what people have in their base? It sounds like what a leader is for is to make sure this doesn't happen in the first place. This shouldn't be a problem in a well run clan. Our clan knows that the top 5 players donate as soon as the war starts, and if there is any room at the end, other people can donate right before the war starts. You have the power now to leave people in your clan who donate poorly out of wars, or to tell people who you think are having poor troop decisions in their CC to change them. If they don't you can opt them out of wars as well. I think there is enough power with the leader/co at this point and if you are continuing to have problems, drop the opt/out hammer a couple of times and people will fall in line (people cannot donate to wars if they are not in them).

Hell, we should just let leaders and co-leaders modify members war bases, override what individuals in the clan decide to upgrade, what spells to make, their troop composition, and attack for lower level players.

This is much more likely to be abused than to be "regularly used".

Answer: It's there clan, there 40,000 gold, they deserve absolute power anyways! Also if there a good leader they would give you better troops or something they think is best.

I agree to this mainly because the leader should have full control with the clan and anything the clan does together! For example it should be able to remove war cc troops to give you better then what you have! I also believe the leader should be able to see more like when the player was last online, send private messages to the pacific player, and much more!

I would be angry if someone reached into my CC without asking me. I don't care if they meant well or not. So no way would I reach into any of my own clan member's CC. Instead I would raise it to them to do it themselves. They are expected to be responsible for making sure their CC contents are good for the war. And also they are expected (and do) check in for strategy updates etc so if there was an issue there is a chance to tell them and pay them the respect of handling it themselves. Not being aware of what is going on is really a kickable offense for all the ways it makes a guy unreliable to have in a war with you.

In that scenario its the leader that's the fool. If a guy can't keep a clan organized that's on him. He should getting his clan in line so this stuff doesn't happen. Not requesting SC put in tools so he can clean up messes after they are made.

Totes blowing this out of proportion, the war castles are the main point for clan wars, it's the best defence you have, with the right troops you can fight off the toughest opponents, now when you get hit by loons and some idiot gave you giants, that really hurts, and in a clan war this could be the difference, and that affects everyone, so there should be more control for leaders to protect there clans by giving better troops should they need it, nobody said the players couldn't remove those troops as well, but my feeling is that would not ever happen because most people dont check it because they assume people know what they are doing

Clans recruit all the time, before the update new people could end up in a war without you even realising it

Not really no, that would quantify my 'moron' comment if that is happening. That's what I am referring about with leaders that really are not doing the management job they are responsible for. (A lot of them just like the title for how it makes them feel important, but offer no value as a leader)

A clan that ahs to constantly recruit like that means they are constantly losing people like that too. That right there tells you they are more a circus than a managed clan. Clans that run like that have many more problems than this thread is about.

Taking a guy into the first war after they join is not smart. And certainly having the war start while unknowingly including some guy that jumped in at the last minute. Those are the same guys that come here complaining about hoppers.

I guess I need to reiterate this again. If you have some "idiot" in your clan donating giants to clan castles, opt them out of wars, then they cannot donate. They will either leave or fall in line. If I get donated something ♥♥♥♥ty in my clan, I drop it out of my clan castle, post something on the forum, and ask for different troops.

If you have people donating bad troops in your clan, it is your fault as a leader that A: You allowed them in the clan, B: You allowed them in the war, C: You didn't check your troops before the war.

If THEIR a good leader, poor donations wouldn't be a problem because people who have donated poorly will not be in the clan or in wars until they learn.

Alright, so you are that hard up for Clan Members that you accept everyone into your clan and into wars without screening? That sounds like a bad leader to me. Saying "Leaders/Cos know whats best for defense" is the most idiotic argument in the world. Someone who is nobody in my clan could go into a low level clan and be 30 levels higher than everyone else in the clan, but because he doesn't have the title he immediately doesn't know better than 7yo lvl 26 Timmy who started a clan and is leader by default? Flawed logic at best. If you cannot teach the members of your clan how you want it run, the answer isn't getting absolute power over them, it is teaching them or letting them go.

You are asking for leaders to have absolute power but as a leader you are not willing to use the power you already have to solve the problem. Why are you letting randoms in your clan? Why do they get to fight in the first war? Do you have clear description of what is expected in your Clan Description?

My main worry about this is that idiotic leaders (see everyone above who agrees with this) who think they are god's gift to the game are going to abuse this power.

Here are some scenarios as we have had randoms come into our group before.

John Doe Has Joined Clan
John Doe Requests Dragons/Peeka Immediately
John Doe Booted from Clan

John Doe has Joined Clan
John Doe Requests to start a war Immediately
John Doe Booted from Clan

John Doe Donates Giants to War Clan Castle
Leader: Hey John, don't donate those to the war clan castles, wait for higher level people to donate before you do, then stick to wiz or archers if there is room left.
John Doe: Okay
Now stay with me, this scenario can go a couple of different ways
SCENARIO 1
John Doe donates Giants to War Clan Castle
JohnDoe Booted from Clan
SCENARIO 2
John Doe donates Giants to War Clan Castle
John Doe is opt out of all future wars, when he asks why, we will explain and let him try again
SCENARIO 3
John Doe follows the rules and is a contributing member of the clan.

How is this difficult to manage?

First of all, probably don't use "totes" when trying to make your point... to anyone... about anything. That aside, the war castles are far from the "main point for clan wars" and are not the best defense with the right troops. All CC do in high level wars is slow down the enemy before they can attack fully. When I am doing an air attack, I don't even bother with the Clan Castle because it is obsolete..

You aren't arguing that, you are saying that if a leader thinks Dragon's are the best defense (due to high HP and attack), and someone else thinks 20 archers are the best (because they take so long to draw out), and someone else thinks that 5 Wizards are the best defense (due to the punch they pack), the Leader can decide this for the entire clan, drop other peoples donated troops so they can get whatever they want in their team's clan castle. It's just idiotic!

If this was such a widespread problem to necessitate a fuhrer for your clan, you wouldn't EVER have the assumption that people know what they are doing and would check more frequently.

I disagree. It's not idiotic to have a LEADER of the clan make these decisions. If you don't agree with the way they align the CC's for war, then FIND A CLAN WITH A LEADER THAT YOU AGREE WITH. Or heck, start your own clan.

Again, in a clan of 50, cleaning that mess up is nearly impossible. Say what you want about "YOU MUST GET QUALITY MEMBERS", but you always have to be recruiting and you have to kick 10-20 to get one good one. Period.

By your rationale, I should immediately donate very large troops to the war ccs so that I can "stop the madness". Let me see, 50 dragons, times 30 minutes divide by 4 barracks.....yeah, not only is it very limiting and expensive, it's also impossible.

SC gives us no logging of who donated what (so that we can deal with the situation) -- You are partially right on this point, they don't. I'll give an example. Our clan found that several members of the clan (for the war) were donated level 4 archers. Normally archers are fine (because we tend to let people request whatever for their defense within reason) but we didn't know exactly who donated them. Though a very tedious and time consuming process (sarcasm) we did two things. 1) Someone posted, "Hey, whoever donated level 4 archers to clan castles, don't do that unless there are openings right before the war starts." 2) By process of deduction, you can see who has (and doesn't have) level 4 archers in their CC (you cannot donate your own troops) and you can see what every member of your clan has for troops and levels. So we noticed that only two people in our clan had level 4 archers, and only one of those people didn't have them in their own clan castle. Holy ♥♥♥♥! We solved the mystery in 5 seconds! To put a good end to this story, he eventually responded to the thread and said, "Ohh sorry about that, just wanted to help" and it hasn't happened since.

What it sounds like is your desire to grow, and have a max participant clan is more important than having a well run clan. That is a choice YOU are making. Nobody is MAKING you do 50 person wars now, you can do 45 person wars, or 40 person wars to screen out the people who just want to be in and out quickly.

You are choosing to grow your clan so quickly that at any given moment you will have several new members who you have never played with, and you don't have the balls to opt these new people out of wars because you want to do 50v50 or are afraid they will leave.

Our army uses primarily high level archers or wizards (have you ever tried to draw out a centered CC with 30 archers?) so no, I am not suggesting you (or any of your top guys) should waste 1 million elixir to donate Dragons to everyone. What I DO suggest is that the higher level players in the clan donate before the lower level players of the clan. If you guys NEED Dragons, then you'll have to figure that out.

The problems you are bringing up are problems you are creating yourself by your NEED to have a max capacity clan, your NEED for constant recruitment, and your NEED that everyone in your mixed bag clan has the specific clan castle troops that you want them to have. If those are the things you value, I think you have to accept that new players are going to do dumb ♥♥♥♥ (and there are ways to fix that), and that some people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s (and there are ways to fix that) and that some people don't learn after being told something 20 times (and there are ways to fix that).

So, make your choice, are you going to have a well-run clan that perhaps will have fewer members (the ones you know are good) and do smaller wars until new people prove themselves, or are you going to simply accept every Tom, ♥♥♥♥, and Harry into your clan and demand that Super Cell give you ultimate control over their Clan Castle Troops because you cannot keep everyone in line.

People who say that this shouldn't happen in the first place in a well-run clan don't understand the problem. Speaking of idiots, don't revive a 2 month dead thread. Especially if it contains an idea which can be abused by trolls like this one. If you don't like your troops, dump them and try again.

This is not a huge problem, nor terribly frequent, but it is perpetual with an easy fix.

Some members of the clan do not log in every day, but reliably turn up for wars. Poor troop donations to them are very annoying.

So easy fixed. Let the leader remove cc troops. Just the leader. We don't want confusion with people not know what co-leader did what.

Also helpful, would be to let at least the leader know who donated what. It would allow a diplomatic word of councelling.

Good IDEA however it may be wiser to add this as a clan perk
