Hello forum,
Thus far, the update is focused greatly on TH 10. Even though I think that they are some great additions with awesome graphic work, there should be at least a thing or two for us lower levels, see maybe a drill, maybe a new function in the game that could be enjoyed by all levels.
PS: this is not a rant! This is just a thought and I truly appreciate the work that you guys put into this game.
I agree with your idea i also wish to have at least a new defence for th8s or maybe smaller ths

I'm not in a hurry, I upgrade everything at my own pace so I'm not complaining about upgrade time. I'm saying that a new building or something for TH 7 or 8 would be great, because that's new content that we could enjoy. I'm not even arguing, what's your problem it's just a thought.Quote:

On another note, how does adding a new TH level change anything for the lower levels? I don't understand the various complaints about making it harder on the lower level players - it doesn't. You'll still attack bases with TH the same/one level lower than you, and aim to loot around 400k total resource. TH10 won't attack you either due to a massive loot penalty (which I assume will be imposed). Same old stuff for the lower levels. At least now you have something to upgrade when you finally Max out that TH9.
Why are ppl so quick to attack a valid point/question? It’s not a question of being bored at TH7/8 or unable to max, it's about creating balance. And regardless of what people think, SC isn't just creating content for the top 200. The bottom 2 million spend more in gems than the top 200. Adding content to mid-lower lvls is about slowing the huge gap which exists between TH9 and TH8, for one and which will surely be intensified even more now, regardless of loot penalties.
Updates are wonderful, it gives us all something to work for, but there should be a bit for everyone to enjoy — and honestly this arrogance by the forum crew gets a bit tiring to scroll through day after day.
Contents for low level THers ?

No guys, you get it wrong! Think of this this way: up to TH9, every TH has new stuff to build. If you get to the next TH level, you have plenty to build and look forward to. At Th9 however, there is nothing to look forward to anymore. Thats why SC releases content for this TH, for the maxed once. The rest has new stuff to build already. Why do you want new buildings for Th7, when you'll get plenty of new buildings later on anyway?

They did add new content for lower level players - the New TH and X bow upgrade not to mention the almost certain additional sneak peeks yet to come. In terms of "goodies" you get it just like the players at maxed TH9 do - it just takes you longer to play with the new toys...walk before you can run ;-)
If you think of the game as a journey, then any content added regardless if its not yet open to you, is still content for you to eventually enjoy. If you plan to only play this game today and not tomorrow, metaphorically speaking, then yes, you will miss out...
But given human nature, they may well give lower levels something...just like my mum used to buy my brother little presents on MY birthday because she did not like to "give one without the other"...irritated me then, irritates me now...lol
New contents for lower THs? How about the new attack log and donation received stat?
Or do u think that we should start getting x-bows at TH3?
I think the thread should be called - Why cant we get all the stuff the other TH players have - but we dont want to upgrade our TH to get it all...Makes no sense
Wow the amount of butthurt and ignorance in this thread is incredibly high. I thought that this community was a bit mature, guess that I was wrong.
I never stated anything about getting an Xbow to TH 7, this thread was about getting a new feature that also could be enjoyed by us lower levels. For example in the previous update we had the league system to look forward to, now in this one there is nothing special (yet) for us lower levels to enjoy. The attack logs isn't something that great, it's just a replay of something that you already did.
I was suggesting more of something like Clan wars, a minigame or maybe wizard reduction time to make the game more fun for us lower levels.
Don't twist my words please, as stated above I never wanted to ruin the balance of the game.

As I said, all of the new content is for lower players, you are just not ready for it yet. Eventually you will get TH10 and all of the "things" it comes with. If they give you things early, then if I reverse the perspective, how is that fair on higher level players who had to make do without said addition when they were at your level??

Okay, I might have been premature in assuming that you just wanted new stuff - so sorry about that. We are still in the middle of the sneak peeks - I would advise a bit of patience. You may be pleasantly surprised.
I just want to see all the hilarious premature th10's.
Th9's are the new th8's, so i'm satisfied.
no need for new toys for lower ths as they are greatly protected by the loot penalty
@Op, no, simply no. You "lower" lvl's have the entire game in front of you, if you want new content simply upgrade your town hall. The people who whine about "there is nothing here for me" need to shut up and play the game. This update along with all the previous updates are for you, when you get to Clashing and get there. :roll:

But I bet your still fine to sit with your great loot bonus, TH7 are in the best position for loot from raids. I'd gladly swap my upgrades in exchange for your loot bonus. A game doesn't progress if they just add everything for lower level's it defies the point of progressing.
Please stop complaining and enjoy the game, and eventually you will reap the benefits of new upgrades and updates, just be glad your not paying millions for each upgrade.

I don't have a complaint that the new content isn't coming to me as a Th7 but I think it is a little shortsighted to say that there is no need for a new feature or something to keep lower level Th's interested or engaged in the game. If it was only end game players growing bored and quiting then the plethora of abandoned Th7's I raid every day wouldn't exist. I repeat I have no complaint, just trying to raise another point of view.
Your point is invalid you forget the amount of players who are past TH7 who have managed to stay "interested or engaged", its actually harder to stay interested at higher TH levels due to days and days of upgrades, and the reduced loot bonus, you have it easy.Quote:

I think is funny is all the th9s are sooo happy for this and the only people complaining are early th8 and th7. Of course it will be this way, but i also find it funny that the upper th people have absolutely no sympathy for this. This is simply because they don't care and are not th7 or early th8 anymore
i agree that just because we get better loot is not a good enough reason to completely make the update about th9 players. The reason supercell does this is obvious though, they want th7 And 8 to buy a few hundred in gems and gem our way to 9
I think it's funny that people who have lower town halls feel like they are entitled to 16 new buildings every update.
There is no need to add buildings to any other level. Not even TH9. Those levels are complete.
If you want the neat new stuff (which so far there isn't) then upgrade TH. any player who spends a half hour a day can start a TH upgrade in days.
If the add stuff for TH 6, them they have to add it to all higher THs, and you'll still be behind.
I didn't even have level 2 teslas or level 6 walls when I hit TH9 and I've done fine.
Loot isn't as good but you can still upgrade ANYTHING you want. I ALWAYS have my builders working.
Nothing new is needed for TH1 through TH9, if you want new, upgrade TH!
That being said, I'm not upgrading to 10 unless there are new buildings, the announced updates aren't enough motivation to do it.
