New Resource Collector: Lightning conductor

The new "electric styled" buildings are thought to be coming out and I thought that supercell can use this style to implement a new resource called lightning. My thoughts are that the collector will look like an orb being held of the ground by 3 supports underneath the orb there will be a metal (black) rod. Every 3 seconds a strike of lightning comes from the rod to the orb. It will be mostly blue colourd and and it upgrade it goes to dark blue and at the last level it becomes black. My thoughts on the storage would be a smooth orb (sort of like elixir) but it would look like a plasma ball. My thoughts are that this new resource, I'm not sure what to call it maybe volts, will be used in small amounts with gold and elixer (depends which building type) to build the new electric styled buildings (like boom beach).

Stats (level 1)

Production rate: 10 per hour

Capacity: 60 (volts)

Hit points: 400

Build time: 7 days

Cost: 20,000 dark elixer

Seeing that most likely if there is an electric themed TH (most likely 11) everything if not most things will be electric themed so by adding this would you pretty much make Gold and Elixir worthless for that one Electric themed Townhall.

Actually, this could solve the gold/elixir problem for TH11. Just make most of the useful stuff cost dark elixir (the new elixir) or lightning (the new gold). Make a lightning storage available at TH10 (kinda like how the DE storage used to be available at TH7, but no drill until TH8).

Not saying I'm in favor, but my gut reaction is that this could help solve the gold/elixir issue for TH10's and TH11's. Gold and elixir would just be used for basic things like upgrading walls, barching, rearming traps, etc., while the majority of the expensive cool new TH11 stuff would be bought with DE and lightning.

And I suppose it goes without saying that the lightning storage (and collector?) would need to be immune to the lightning spell. In fact, the lightning spell should actually deposit lightning in a lightning collector. :cool:

But I still wouldn't nerf the lightning spell against DE storage. :p

I think four resources is good enough, we dont need more

Thanks for your opinion. I think you are right on how it creates a bigger use for dark elixer too

Didn't you watch Stardust? (Great movie, btw, came out in 2007 I believe.)

Captain Shakespeare sold 10,000 bolts of lightning to Ferdy. What it was used for in the kingdom of Stormhold is anybody's guess, but the point is, it was a commodity to be collected, traded, and eventually used (for whatever).
