My elixer storage is maxed out and I'm starting to run out of things to spend it on. It looks like I'll have to go to TH9 sooner than I wanted so I'm not sitting on more elixer and dark elixer than I am able to spend. Anybody else coming up with interesting ways to use your elixer? Here's a couple of mine:

i'm in the same boat. just started the upgrade to TH9 an hour ago. everything is maxed except i need to do 80 skulls so hopefully i can farm those in the next 10 days. every time i max the elixir a brew a big army. my favorite army is 8 dragons, 8 balloons and 3 rage spells. that will blow about 400k elixir and is a fun army to raid with.
Back in my TH8 days I would do mass dragon/rage attacks when my elix got full. Good way to get some DE in higher leagues.
You could do your level 3 pekka. That will burn through some lix.
I got one lvl 9 rax left to do on my mini and that's it. I'll do giwipe armies overnight to hunt gold/DE and make use of the lix/gold converter known as clan wars.
Im a maxed TH8 for 2 weeks now and i regret why i didn't start going to TH9 during the 1 gem boost, now i'm sitting on a village floated from elixir :eek: because i can't upgrade walls with it.
There is nothing to spend it on. SC are using TH8 as a crutch to try and improve the broken loot situation for TH10s. When in fact all you are doing is funding TH9s walls.
As soon as you finish your non lab elixir upgrades go to TH9 and exploit this broken system and the poor TH8s trying to do walls who are losing 100s of millions elixir.
6 days to go on my TH upgrade!
I'll be doing the same thing! My defenses aren't all the way finished, but I only have one more barracks and one more dark barracks upgrade to do with elixer. After that I'll go to TH9 so I won't be sitting on my elixer doing nothing with it but giving it up to TH9s. I was planning on staying at TH8 for a while, maxing everything completely, but now that we can't put elixer into walls that won't work anymore. It would be a waste of resources.Quote:

I really don't understand these complaints. I am TH8, I have upgraded all buildings that require elixir and have 5 or 6 elixir upgrades left in the lab. I have all level 7 walls and I plan to upgrade at least half to level 8 before going to TH9. So yes I will soon not need elixir for upgrades. Yes, I would like to be able to spend it on walls and make that process go faster. But you still have two opportunities to take advantage of.
First is the opportunity to train various types of armies and practice with them, especially Gowipe. Yes, Gowipe also needs DE, but the cost of 3 PEKKAs is high when you trying the attack out for the first few times and fumbling around figuring it out. Also, gold raiding with mass dragons can be quite fun, especially since you don't have to worry about trying to get all three stars like you do in a war.
Second, become your clan's Sugar Daddy. Donate your tail off. When you get finished raiding for gold, load up your barracks with PEKKAs, Dragons, Wizards, what ever your clan mates want. Your clan will be better off and you won't have a load of elixir that will draw attacks from TH9 and 10s causing you to lose your gold as well.
Th8 are a generous bunch of guys, helping us th9s get lava walls and they can't hide from us since th9 can go as low as gold3 looking for your elixir
