push or upgrade?

hi

so i have a th7 that is almost maxed out all i have left to upgrade is:

1 x king upgrade to get to level 5
10 x storage pumps from level 10 - 11
2 x giant bombs
143 x level 6 walls to level 7
2 x air bomb

Lab upgrades

ballon to level 4
dragon to level 2
rage to level 4
minion to level 2
hog to level 2

my question really is do i max out and see if i can push to champions (unlikely but ya never know), or stay low in trophies farming and move to th8 to start the cycle of maxing everything again. to be honest im starting to realise how much time this game is taking at each level and that upgrades that took miniutes when i started are now several days, so do i keep slogging on and try to uprade and raid as much i can or do i take a break from the need to farm resources and push to see how high i can get and work on my skill at attacks and clan wars to improve my ability as a strong player. im fairly open minded to any sugestions u guys have and advice you can give me and before anyone points it out im sorry about my grammer as english was never my favourit topic at school lol.

Max max max

In my opinion it is far more valuable to take the time to max out and hit the ground running at each new town Hall upgrade level. Skipping important upgrades only leaves so much work and pain later on and I have heard that from many members of my clan.

Me myself I always max out, and have never regretted it for a second. For instance at my current TH8 Im almost at 100% max for everything on my base, including my lab where I only have one single lab update left. When I go to town hall 9 very shortly then I can genuinely enjoy it knowing there is nothing old hanging over me still.

Just my opinion like I say, the little bit of patience just now to wait is worth it in the long run.

any next th lvl is always easier when everything is max from previous one... but not impossible.

If your main upgrades are done (looks like the case) you could go on.. no need to stress since it is a game. My way of enjoying it is by maxing everything (including walls and heroes [but now i see the big leap at th9]) i feel like an accomplishment when i do so.

in my thought you are ready.. if you feel the struggle of farming non stop, just take a break and push to change the pain a little.. but you,ll se also that with a th7 the only thing you can do pass crystal3 is to snipe snipe snipe (which is not so fun at a certain point) you'll then come back to farming and enjoy dropping to finally find base you can handle and wreck.

my intention is always to max

i still intend to finish my th7 upgrades untill i have nothing left to upgrade, what i mean is more once i have maxed out do i see how high i can go and enjoy the lack of a need to constantly have builders upgrading and spending ages hitting next to find bases with high loot so i can get my next upgrade or do i max out stay at th7 and go for trophies to see if i can develop my ability to 3 star and no just barch with no reall ability to 3 star a base

If you plan on doing wars at th8 then upgrade your dragons and rage spell at least.

While you're doing that you can upgrade your BK, traps, and mines/pumps. That will take you ~2 weeks then you can start your th8 upgrade towards the end of those two weeks.

Obviously some people will say max everything (and they are right to an extent) but that is what I would personally do in your shoes.

Yea, I'm thinking if I wait to max everything out I may end up with builders not doing anything and as this is all about time I'm thinking I could use the two weeks to see how high I can push in that time and do the upgrades u recommended . See if I can get the best of both pushing and maxing

It looks like you still have lots of things worth upgrading. I think you should farm and max out completely IMO.

Yea It feels like almost nothing left and when u look at it everything is can't upgrade to th8 but adding up the time on the lab upgrades including dark troops make about 30 days left but I never use dark troops as I keep all my dark elixir for king level ups so I can get the ability

Yea but I have 5 builders so I can do all my pumps in 10 days total so after that I'll have builders with nothing to do while I wait on lab upgrades

so far the poll is for me to upgrade to th8 and im thinking this is what i will do, anyone else have any final opinions before i upgrade?

2 choices :

- 1 if you have time to play a lot gofor a push to champions, it is easier at TH7 the TH8 as the "next" cost is lower

- 2 upgrade TH, but then it will get easier to push once you have good TH10 defenses and troops

As a TH 7, there's no real point to pushing. Plus, staying low and farming is much more fun and enjoyable.

Go to TH8 and farm. Pushing to champ won't really help your attacking skills because as a TH7 you wont get any higher than crystal 3 except through TH sniping and that won't hone anybody's attack skills. Go to TH8 and farm farm farm. Then when TH8 is max go to TH9 and you have a shot at doing Champ properly.

thanks for the advice, i currently farm in gold 3 at th7 so i get best of both dark elixer and loot whats a good range for th8?

TH 7 you'll probably have issues even reaching crystal, champion's going to be ridiculously hard and very grind-y. So just keep farming up the THs, and only aim for champs max TH 9 - TH 10, imo.
