Why higher TH does not contain dark elixir inside it ?

the 1000 gold and elixir are the first hold you need to build gold and elixir storage when you don't have them at lvl1

simple as that.. since de storage need elixir and at that stage you have 2 storage (high lvl tho) no need to put de in TH.. also, you need de only for troops and not building anything... i don't see the point at all putting even 100 de storable in TH

Having my TH outside for shields is a totally legitimate tactic. First of all, losing dark elixir for losing your TH isn't a bad idea, but it can't be 100. Since I mainly farm for gold, I have normal raids where I get less than 100 DE. Secondly, you can't make the amount of gold in the TH go up. You're complaining about 300K bases with a 12 hour shield? For every two of those there's at least one without a shield. It's not us farmers fault that you don't have the patience to press next a few extra times.

Yeah it's not a bad idea. I remember there was some discussion on that idea in at least a couple of the One and Only Loot is Good/Bad threads. If I recall correctly, I thought the amount suggested was too low, but honestly I don't see enough real attacks on my base to judge what amount I'd give up for certain vs. risk everything.

I'm one of those 300k bases hiding behind shields that people of all th levels have given me. It'd risk my loot, but I'd gladly do it to have a shot at everyone else.

Or the shield system could change. Shields could be given instead based on a % of loot lost.

Also remember that when Clash was originally release dark elixir didn't exist, so when they introduced it, they must of either overlooked it or thought it wasn't required.

Sorry, but this doesn't make sense. Presumably, they had to add DE war loot storage to the CCs when they introduced DE so they could have added it to the TH as well. And the CC isn't inconsistent between 1-6 and 7 and above just because it has space for DE.

Actually the amount of gold/elixir/and eventually DE should scale with each TH upgrade. 1k/1k makes a lot of sense for TH1, it makes very little sense at even TH7, let alone TH10. It is just clearly a flaw in the design of the game which has led to this culture of free shields and TH snipers in champs.
