What to Upgrade as a New TH 10

I finally decided to do it... I will be a premmie

I do have a few questions for either newly upgraded TH 10's or fairly well upgraded TH 10's. I would like to know what to upgrade first lab wise. My highest priorities are Golems, Archers, Barbarians, Wizards, Pekkas, all the CW attacking sort of troops and Barch troops so I can Barch. I would also like to know if it's better to Barch for loot or use Loons higher up as TH 10. Thinking about CW I thought about my freeze spell too, so any suggestions as to what order I should upgrade everything would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading, hope someone can help.

Ok, premmie th10? It depends, do you war/push more or are more of a farmer? Farmer upgrade-Barbs, Archers, Giants, Wizards. War-Golem/Wizard/Dragon, etc.
Definitely upgrade army camps, spells, dark barracks.
Defense wise: Get you infernos built, but don't upgrade them. Splash first. Mortars, Wizard towers, Air defense.
Then go as you want!

i dont think those premmie walls are going to help you at TH10.

I decided to upgrade wizards first. Various reasons - but i do like their red robes. After this probably giants for me.

I am hopeless at barch and cant comment on it at higher levels but the extra spaces by upgrading your army camps probably shouldn't be underestimated.

Why wizards? Of all the troop upgrades that is probably the least bang for your buck. Barch first, helps your farming income and improves heroes too (troops they spawn level up).

So, may I ask where do you Barch at? I know some people do it in M3+ just for the league bonus, but is there anywhere to Barch where you can loot dead bases or storages consistently or should I just Loon higher up in M3 or so.

I would do golem first cause you need the regular elixer to upgrade your army camps anyway. I like loonion also so I did lv 6 minion early too. Also you are not a premmie really you will be fine at lv 10. I went with a combination of lv7 and 8 walls and have been fine

I went barch first, and then minions.

I either Barch or Loonion in Master 3. Barch when I have one or 2 heroes, and loon when they are upgrading. I pretty much farm for loot bonus with barch, and get sometime a luckey dead base, or storage out base.

With loon it costs more elixir, but I can loot more DE and more storages... overall barch is cheaper but once you hit 140k+ DE upgrade per hero lvl, barch is not enough for normal people (people who doesn't boost everyday saying game is fine)

If u can farm the elixir then go for barch.. when I upgrade I'm thinking I'll probabably go either minions first since I like bam and all of my elixir will go to camps and DE drill.

TH10 has so many goodies!


If I could go back and do it again, I probably would put my priorities differently.

For offense, you need to upgrade camps and spell factory ASAP. The extra 20 housing spaces in troops is huge in a gowiwi/gowipe.

You're going to have to have freeze to negate the inferno's you're going to see all the time.....


For Defenses, like said, build the infernos, and 3rd xbow. Upgrade your splash damage first.

With level 7 barbs and archers you can easily barch the league bonuses in M3-M1. You will spend a lot less time nexting vs looking for a collector base in a lower league. Much more efficient at TH10 IMO.

If planning on using gowipe in war, don't forget to upgrade Golem, PEKKA (both levels 4 & 5), Wizards, & Wallbreakers.

If you use loons, do Minions (they look good in purple) and maybe Hounds.

Level 5 Freeze is very useful.

defense always first (inferno xbow to level 1 at least), how do you get resources secondly (goblins barch giants), then things that make you more valuable in war.

So, what I've found is that most say upgrade farming troops first then war stuff later. Also use Barch to farm for all of the camps and first Elixir upgrades and then I can use whatever to farm in higher leagues around M2. Sounds great, thanks everyone.

I would recommend doing Golems first if your clan goes to war often. They get a huge boost from 4 to 5. If you only go to war once or twice a week, I would definitely consider doing Minions first (that was my first upgrade). I farm with Loonion in M3 and M2 with no spells and sometimes no heroes (i upgrade both at the same time every other weekend). It takes a little longer than Barch but you have more potential to get more loot for each raid because you can get to storages easier with loonion and then you get the loot bonus. With Barch in Masters, you're mainly trying to get 50% for the loot bonus. I would save elixir to get 240 camp space ASAP.

The golem upgrade is not a huge boost, it is actually the smallest of any of the golem upgrades (300hp). Sure its nice, but I'd rather have longer freezes (if we are talking war stuff here).

Yeah I would actally say to the op your better off maxing your pekkaa first before golems If you like to gowipe..
