skeleton trap too OP and why everyone uses air troops in champs

There's a lot of air attacks above 4000 cups. I'm looking at my log now...

18 air attacks, 13 gowipe and the gowipes are all 4-5 golem attacks which seems to be the flavour of the month with 2 jump spells. So more leaning towards air. The air attacks require little skill to be honest, they drop 2-3 lava hounds from angles along one side followed by clumps of loons and mins. Most of the attacks I get with air on my base design get around 30% damage and then they drop max level heroes other side of base to clean up the extra 20%. It's pretty rare I get two starred with air attackers but it does happen occassionally. They seem to rely on heroes last as a kind of buffer to use in case the main attack fails.

The Lightning spell should not increase damage, don't encourage zappers.

I'm at 4250 and have been here a long time now. Maybe its my base but I have had 3 different ones in that time that I have had far more gowi attacks on me. And yeah it's almost all been 5 golems. Those attacks seem to be impossible to stop. But I don't see how the golem attack requires anymore skill than air does. Neither of them take much thought other than picking where to attack from. They spam troops basically and rely a lot on the max heros. The only difference is that the heroes are put in at the beginning of the attack instead of the end.

They will pull air or ground targets that can aim at them, so your theory doesnt really hold water.

If you set them to air then the pekka and bk will ignore the skeletons. Those are the 2 main threats for Th since most people normally try to get their pekka and bk in core and rage them to demolish it.

I think a 2 ground 1 air combo is solid or all 3 at ground.

But yes I too hate the skeleton traps sometimes.

Id prefer to have them air. Dont have any problems really with traps and ground defenses taking care of pekka for the most part. But Air skeles can ruin a lavaloonion

Yes the 5 golem attacks require little skill also I agree. They drop the two jumps and spam all the troops in one spot to the core... I can't stop them either.... :(

Exactly same thing happen to one of my clan mates not too long ago.

It's not just Skelton traps or what caused your latest fail. It's the entire AI. You can take all the enjoyment of this game and flush it down the toilet as soon as you try to 3 star someone. All of the fun gone in 3 minutes.
