The biggest swindlers and we didn't even know...

I've been playing clash for years and I always wondered about the builders. They were so different from everyone else... Always in their huts and stuff. Little did we know of their evils...

My revelation and how it happened.
So i'm pushing and I have like no loot lol. Dried it up getting to masters. I'm just sitting there all sad thinking about how i have three sleeping builders. Then i look at how they want just upgrade an archer tower(4.5mil). THAT'S WHEN IT HIT ME.

HOW DOES A BANNER AND A SHIELD EQUATE TO 4.5MIL. Materials to upgrade my Archer Tower should be no more than 1 mil and the labor should be no more than 1mil. Then something else struck me as strange. WHERE IS ALL MY GOLD GOING!! I pay them so much and they still live in those little huts. Suspicious much!!

This is a message to the builders. I don't have all the pieces to the puzzle but i'm on to you guys.

Builders are just hired help. The real question is who hires them?

The Villagers? They don't seem to have any real jobs...they walk around the village jumping over walls, clapping at buildings and trees and rocks. They live in a huge place called a Town Hall and even at times I see them clapping at the builders instructing them to work harder and faster!

Anyway, my point is, it doesn't matter where your money goes...you hire them to build something and they won't rest until the job is done. For that, I don't mind spending millions.

However, whoever is their Big Boss...sure is a slave driver.

They should spend some of that gold on better tools. A hammer is far from the best option, to cut down a tree!!!

The insurance rates are extremely high

they have great benefits! Maybe they just have really high union dues.

U don't pay the gold to builders.. you pay the gold to builder's construction company ----- Supercell...

It's the worker's union. Once they have you by the choke hold, they artificially and exponentially increase the price to upgrade buildings; pocketing the rest. It's not like you can fire them either. So it just gets worse and worse...

Got a good laugh out of this and I'm glad so many people had clever remarks to go along with (sorry for breaking that lol). Just glad to see something original instead of the heavily repeat of the same 6 topics.

It is possible that this "gold" is in fact not a very valuable resource. Maybe so much of it is required to get so little because it is so common. For example, it takes 14,500 rupiahs to make one euro.

Why would many villages would only carry about 14 euros (200 000 rupiah or gold, if we assume they are of similar value) when searching? Since a th10 has only 10% available, they would have 140 euros at base. They may be so "poor" because they are just a village in a small clearing in the forest. Perhaps there is some central government in the game that controls most of the wealth, or maybe hyperinflation made coins worthless, so it takes a ton of them to get hardly anything (hence the reason it is 4.5 mil to add a banner and some supports).

But hey, that's just a theory...

All those 'extra' once the construction is completed...Note that they are also controlled by the mafia and use sub-standard construction material. That is why you are required spend extra money on upgrades/repairs on a regular basis...it never ends.

Well all our bases are surrounded by incredibly hostile lands so a large portion of the gold they get goes to shipping costs of the raw materials and tools. Besides, they are on call 24/7 with no day off and their job has high fatality rates... I say their charges are justified...
