I agree. I've got friends who really want it but haven't even seen it yet, I thougt they would have put it on the wheel for everyone. A lot of people worked so hard to get those decorations for Christmas and New Years. I wish I could clone my gramophone and give everyone a copy. :(Quote:

Am I the only one who thinks that it is a good thing that this one is completely random and pretty rare at the same time. Sorry knitgal2 about your frustration but the more they torture the ones that want it so badly, the more valuable it becomes. :D It's always better to be in that club of one of the lesser owners of the gramaphone thing, especially if you want to chuck a couple diamonds to that daily truck.

I'm still getting nothing but stupid, worn out bugs on plants. I am not playing the wof, or spending ANY diamonds on it, until the gramophone appears. If SC thinks this approach is fair, snubbing so many people after all the hard work we did trying to get this through the contest, then I think its fair to stop spending ANY money on the game until the record player is on my farm. I've spent real money on this game since I started playing a year ago, but there will be NO more diamond purchases from me until I have an opportunity at the gramophone. :mad:
The gramophone appeared on my wheel over the weekend, so for the first time ever I used diamonds to spin again. And again, and again, and again. And then yet again.
Eventually I got it😎 I wasn't going to let the chance pass by as it may not appear again. Afterwards I realised I'd ploughed my way through 36 diamonds though, but in landing a couple of gold vouchers in the process I still felt the extravagance was justified.
However on reflection it's a cool (or cunning) way for SC to get me to use my precious diamonds. I have never bought a decoration using diamonds!
But I'm still pleased I've got the thang. It occupies pride of place on my farm whilst all my other freebie decos clutter up the town where there's little better to do with the space.
Now I've got it though part of me hopes I don't ever see it on the WoF again. Really hope it keeps its rarity value.
I donated tons more muffins than called for and I've never seen one on the wheel. :(

I finally won the gramophone on the second turn, then 2 days later won another one on the first turn. Which leads me to believe there might be some people out there with a field full of them. Ill keep an eye out and snap a picture once I find it.

I'm getting frustrated with the vouchers we get for helping someone. They run specials for stuff like the windmill or pearl, etc. and all I get are those stupid greenery things! Makes me not want to help! Today it could have been the windmill and I got a dumb green thing. I don't even put them on mynfarm because I don't like them!!
Stick with it. I know it's frustrating. It took me a little over two years to land the snail, windmill, boy fountain statue, red tractor, vintage bike, turtle and king frog. I've won loads of other insignificant ♥♥♥♥ to get the rare prizes. Also, the super rare Pearl of the Sea is not a catalog item, it's obtained by placing a mystery net in the fishing area. I just got the gramophone on my wheel for the second time today. I got it on the very first wheel after it was added. And not once until today. I spent 15 diamonds trying to get it. Something that I've never done before.. And no luck. I gave up after that because it felt like it wasn't going to happen. No brt, no windmill and no gramophone for me.. Sigh..
