When we had this ability (I know it's available for upgrading level 8 to level 9 walls) our bases upgraded faster, and it brought good use to using elixir. Like at townhall 8. You run out of things to upgrade with elixir so quickly while there are plenty to do with gold. Please bring back this ability to upgrade walls level 9 and under. It was a good update.
Let's have more requests for this! I haven't seen 100 yet but it's getting close.
No way. Upgrading to level 9 with elixer is fair enough. Everything below should be upgraded with gold. And indeed, you're perhaps the 100th today....
You shouldn't be allowed to start a new thread until you have 50 posts. Lazy people like OP are making this section pretty much useless. I come here less and less due to this kind of thing.
It might have been a good update to all the th8 and lower players, but th8 and th9 farmers (who rely on th8s and 9s for their loot(like me :rolleyes:)) experienced a huge drop in available loot form an average match. For instance, many th8s would just dump all their loot into walls and maybe one upgrade, leaving no available loot for the farmers. the For the higher level players removing this update was a great advantage. Fight through it. Its only 500k gold per wall, it could be worse.

Elixir for walls was in the first place was a huge mistake. The lvl9 walls rollback was an improvement. At this point I am convinced it was not enough though. Needs to be lvl 10 walls at the lowest and increased when/if TH11 is introduced.
That or some version of the "must have at least XXX in your storages before you can use elixir on walls" system. That could work too.
