Not another dark elixer zapping thread!!

I apologise in advance guys but this thread is not what you think it is. Im not here to rant and say things need to change, I'm simply asking a question to an aspect of the game that annoys high level town halls. However in my opinion dark elixer zapping is apart of the game so we live it.
Also I'd like to add that I'm not one of those TH10 bullies who farms in silver or gold (those guys deserve to get zapped). I usually farm in màsterś league, but I'm in crystal two right now as my heroes are upgrading.
Now that's out of the way here's the question; what annoys you the most when somebody zaps your dark elixer storage?
For me it's not that they are taking a huge amount of resources and my dark elixer reserves are going backwards. I gain nearly 3000 dark elixer per night just from my drills so it isn't an issue for me. Also it's not that I take it to heart when I loose resources either, I take a lot more than i give so that doesn't bother me.
There are two reasons dark elixer zapping bothers me;
- firstly; I don't believe they deserve to get dark elixer for doing something so cowardly.
- secondly; I don't believe a TH7 or TH8 should be able to take recources from a TH10 (unless I go inactive or give it away) when I can't take anything from them due to the loot penalty's. I would honestly rather loose 800k in resources to a great attack than get zapped so cowardly. By the way that actually happened to me last night as my inferno towers were upgrading, then the next defence I got zapped for 1000 dark elixer by a TH7 which is mostly the reason I've made this thread.
If you took the time to read this thread I'd like to thank you and ask you what you think? Does it annoy you as well for whatever reason? Or are you just not fazed by it?

I'm losing a lot of trophies to some of the lower THs, just means they're getting smart. And could get rid of the color coding stuff in your post, really hurt my eyes to read that.

i think it's getting worse because of the rise in town hall snipers. But the thing is, if I leave my town hall inside I get zapped multiple times instead of just one.

I just dont like that fact that it is obviously against the way the game is meant to played. You shouldnt be able to take so many of my resources without giving me a shield. The only way you get a shield is by having your TH out which isn't the way the game is meant to be played. If you have your TH in with 50k+ dark its basically suicide in gold or crystal just crazy.

Who says that a th7 can't raid you? No one says you can't raid back, you actively choose not to because it isn't worth your time monetarily. But if you wanted to, you could flatten their base without a second thought. Th10s are the king of the hill, but it doesn't meant that a fly can't bother him from time to time.

Cowardly or not. Its the way the game goes. Lightning deals damage, DE tanks yield DE when it is dealt damage, hence when lightning strikes the tank, you yield DE to the attacker.

I accept it's part of the game, I did zapped as a low hall; and get zapped as a high hall.

But this part of it has never made made sense to me.

I knew as a TH7 I could zap with impunity, even if a TH9 or TH10 revenged me I would lose next to nothing and get a 12 to 16 hour shield - I considered that a massive win. Poke the bears for a cheap shield, far better than a TH8 farmer finding me.

I knew that was just ridiculous - but at the same time would be crazy not to take advantage of it. Especially as when I did it way back then DE storage's had less HP. That gave even bigger zap returns.

But if a hall 2 or more below zaps me. They hide behind serious loot protection rules, offering me only 50%, or worse 25% in return.

9 times out of 10 it's completely inefficient to even try raid any tiny amount back. And there is no league bonus there either to assist.

But as I said before, I did it when I was a low level; so fully accept a few coming back my way.

Just enact a policy of revenge.

If I get zapped, then I'll revenge. If they won their loot fair and square, then I ignore it. If you want to, just troll them. Place bombs and stuff around your TH. Problem solved.


SC didn't ban this strategy or prevent the use of it at the beginning when it was first introduced, why should they do that now? No amount of complaining is going to change it.
