What range are you farming in? I've been trying that comp up in M3 and it's hit or miss on the 50%, usually a miss while I work on the technique. Down lower I could see it totally wrecking high loot th8's and 9's though. Maybe I should just drop already, the loot bonus is so nice.

As a side note, and to you, does anybody have any pointers on DE hunting with 16-20 loons and rest minis? I always hear about loons in masters for awesome DE, so i'm guessing you next until you find a high DE storage near the edge of the base and swarm, but this rarely gets me the 50% to cover the cost of the army when no other loot is present.

I love loons, just trying to figure out how to make them more effective up higher with a small enough comp that I can only boost 1 barrack and have a decent train time.
