Early TH9 looking for advice

So i went up to TH9 over Christmas break because of my limited time to raid during the year as I am a full time medical student. So my base was slightly under levelled lev 7 walls instead of 8 and not all of my barracks or collectors maxed. All defenses and other buildings were maxed, as well as, all elixir based troops except goblins which i dont use are at four. Minions are 3 and hogs 2.

My early th9 priorities were getting xbows and taking them to level two and upgrading lab and spell factory. I also have three camps done and one wiz tower at 7. Archer queen should be going to five today.

So I am wondering what should I be doing next (also did I majorly screw up in moving to th9) . Should I get my walls up and get the new buildings up to level, or still get the more expensive TH9 upgrades. Also which troops should I focus on upgrading after the giants and balloons 6.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Beorn

Level 2 xbows are great, I would get all buildings to max level 8, and then start maxing them out for 9. Work on walls as much as possible in between. I would dedicate at least 1 builder to upgrading heroes constantly, in 5 level increments.

Dark elixir priorities

So for dark elixir when should I upgrade dark troops again versus spending it on the heros lv 10 ? 15 ? just curious since level two witches and lavas seem like a big jump and I know my golems need to be maxed as well.

What are your priorities? war? or farming? When possible, I always put heroes ahead of everything else, but if your in a war clan, your going to have to get DE troops upped soon. I would put farming de at top priority and not worry about walls for a while. Great DE farming guide, if you need help in that area:

I put a higher emphasis on my heroes when I got to TH9 and figured I would try to get both heroes to level 10 then start doing DE troop upgrades. We farm primarily but like to war once a week or once every other week. However, we have taken break from warring at the moment, some people want to get their warring units upgraded more before our next war.

Thxs for the link great guide, yes I am in a war clan so I will probably upgrade my lavas and minions to allow me to run lavaloonian in wars. But yes I guess I will focus on DE for awhile gold and elixir are easy to get anyway.

yeah I think I will do the same take heros to ten then take a few Dark units up then go back to the heros

Extreme farming!!

I went to TH9 early also but am now maxed defense. I only have troops, heros and walls to work on. Farming works best for me in gold 1 for gold and elixir and crystal 3 for dark elixir. When I farm, I use barcher. Set 2 barracks to barbs and 2 barracks to archers. Only attack dead bases and dont worry about winning, just go for the loot in the collectors. I would work on most expensive upgrades first. Xbows, wiz towers..ect. Work on walls as you go. Reply with your clan name and ill join for a bit sometime.

If you dont have a lot of time then your best bet would just be get that dark elixir. Do balloonian or Lavaloonian raids in Crystal 1 or Crystal 2. Focus on Hero upgrades and walls, upgrade defenses when you get extra builders.

Most people do heroes and walls last, but with limited time I would focus on heroes and walls first. If you really just want gold and elixir to do upgrades do lazy collector raids in silver 1 or gold 3. Still plenty of loot their for a TH9 raiding Th8s. But then you wont get as much DE.

You have to have more than 10 characters for your message to post, people write "10 chars" so their amount of characters is bumped over 10.
