As my gratitude for all the support from the community, which helped me achieve the 1,000 YouTube Subscribers milestone, I have put together a compilation of 10 exceptional base designs along with brief analysis of their attributes. This list might be helpful to those who are searching for the "best designs", but do not have the time to extensively search the forums nor Youtube. For enthusiastic players, it might be a great tool to evaluate their own designs by calibrating them with the discussed criteria. Without further ado, here are the Top 10 Base Designs!

Please note that this list is, by no means, extensive, and was evaluated from a small sample of designs shared on the official Design Threads, DTP’s discussion group, & YouTube subscriber submissions. The ratings were given from my personal assessment of each base’s efficiency. Here are the main attributes that were used to rate the designs.
1. Clan Castle: 1 Point - Centralization
2. Core Defenses: 3 Points
  - Mortars - Well-covered, equilateral triangular formation
  - Wizard Towers - Well-covered, bilateral (TH7), equilateral triangular (TH8), equilateral square (TH9) formation
  - X-Bows (TH9) - Centralized bilateral formation
3. Air Defenses: 1 Point - Semi-covered bilateral (TH7), equilateral triangular (TH8), equilateral square (TH9) formation
4. Point-Defenses - 1.5 Points - Semi-covered, even distribution
  - Archer Towers
  - Cannons
  - Hidden Teslas
5. Storages & Town Hall - 1.5 Points - Well-covered, segmented, even distribution
  - Golds
  - Elixirs
  - Dark Elixirs
  - Town Hall (Hybrid/Trophy) - 1 out of the 1.5 Points - Centralized, well covered.
6. Segmentation - 1 Point
7. Staggered Junctions - 0.5 Point
8. Funneling - 0.5 Point

I paused a ZILLION times on your vid to read every single details of the points alloacted.. LOL..
I think you can create 15 mins vid, maybe consider extending it in the future ?
Considering you only took 6 mins.

Should be 1.4/1.5, not 1.3, but doesn't affect overall score of 9.1 either way :p

Congratulations on your 1,000th subscriber. Now I know you're being modest by not including your TH8 theme park, but seriously, using your scoring system, what would your farming base have scored?

Quick question: help me understand why hannibals base has the open arms? would it not be better to close the arms off and make another compartment?

D'oh! I'm glad I didn't miscalculate your overall rating. :) Quite a few mistakes were made while I was working with all the screenshots, GFX's, templates, tables, etc. I had to re-render the whole video right before uploading, because I misspelled "Motars" in one of the templates, and distributed it to all 9 reviews lol. Djemerson also pointed out that I missed one of Hannibal's Archer Towers while highlighting his Point-Defenses. Will proof-read better next time!

Good question, but I honestly don't know if I should rate my designs using my own rating system. It would be somewhat biased, because the system is based entirely on the criteria I used to create my designs.

They redirect Wall-Breakers to the corners of his base, which are heavily reinforced with staggered junctions. Check out the Anti-WB thread in my sig for more info on that. They also act as funnels, which clump troops into his Wizard Towers' fire.
