Go wipe help

Hello, so I'm a new th9 with lvl 2 golems lvl 5 wizards and lvl 3 pekkas. I rarely get any stars on a lvl 9 war base. I release 2 golems first along with a rage and wall breakers then my wizards then I wait for the surrounding buildings to be taken out then release my Pekkas. I have a jump spell for if my Pekkas ever make the middle along with 2 more rage spells. My problem is the golems...they never go for the middle defenses only the ones on the edge...same with my wall breakers, they go where the golems go...to the edges. So I can hardly ever make an a path to the middle. This is really frustrating me and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. So basically my problem lies with the path for my Pekkas. What am I doing wrong? I've watches a lot of videos and the golems always go to the middle along with the wallbreakers. I'm good at mass drags but want to go for the higher bases since I'm ranked 4th in my clan for wars. Is there something I missing? Also wha do you do if an unlureable cc has a drag in it? Thanks in advance.

Practice practice practice. Ask clan mates for advice, share replays. There is skill involved in these attacks and just takes time to learn where and when to drop troops to get them to go where you want them to.

Jump spell i rarely use.

My spell comp is 3 rage 1 heal or 2 rage 2 heal.

If you can lure, do it. If not it's ok.

The critical point is the beginning. You only have 12-15 seconds to know if your GoWipe will get you two (2) stars.

Everything happens really fast, there's no surgical way to do it really.

The critical part is when you put down the first rage (if the wiz go in the rage, you're good)...i would put it as soon as the CC comes out....and rage your wallbreakers.. One raged WB can break down a lot of compartments on its own!

A lot of players put their traps near the townhall side. So you might want to start your attack nearer the clan castle, so that you have a lot of troops to spare after killing the CC. If there are big bombs though near the deployment area, that will ruin your attack. I always start putting the wziards exactly where I put the golems.

Attack spread out bases with less than 10 compartments! If more than 10, remove the pekkas, add another golem, wizards, and witches (GoWiWi). GoWiWi appears more easier to predict than Pekkas going around wasting DPS on collectors lol. Only problem with GoWiWi is if all your wiz and witches die due to big bombs. Traps play more of a critical role in GoWiWi vs GoWiPe, where AI of the pekka plays more I think. Since AI is harder to predict, I go with GoWiWi more often than GoWiPe. Sometimes WiGoWiPe.

if I put a rage spell down will the wbs go towards the rage or the wall that is out the farthest? In my last attack the wbs went to one outcrop on one side (edge) ignored the middle section of walls (where I wanted them to go) and went to the other outcrop on the other side (edge).

I have to see a picture. A lot of bases are being designed against GoXXX attacks. They'll put a line of walls somewhere where a typical ideal gowipe would start. This would funnel your golems to a place you don't want (you don't want two golems beating down one defense on the outside) and your WB AI targets the nearest BUILDING protected by a wall. From testing our WBs in goblin maps, it's about 3-4 walls "enclosed" until the wall you want is targeted.

Yeah I just need to plan my attacks better I reckon...

I use GiWiPe (giants instead of golems). And I'll get consistent 2 stars against appropriate th9s in c2 and c1. First of all ditch that jump spell. You should not be going after bases with lvl 9+ walls at your current level. I use one rage and one heal. No more than that. The cc I will pull it if I am able. I have 10/10 archers and barbs just for that.

I'll drop my giants first then my wbs. Then I'll lay down a line of wizards behind the giants to take down the perimeter buildings to either side of the giants. Wait for the wizards to destroy those buildings and THEN drop your pekkas. The pekkas will have no distractions and go straight toward the center. When the pekkas catch up to the giants drop your rage spell. Send in the BK to help out and it should be an easy 2 star.

This start should get you all the way to mid masters.

Wall breakers won't target the middle walls until buildings inside the edge walls are cleared.

It is a little risky but you can drop your WBs fairly quickly.

If you drop 2 WBs they will go to the nearest building behind a wall. Once that is open the next 2 you drop will do the same. If there are other outside compartments they will do there.

If you drop 2 Wbs, then 2-3 more right after, slight pause, the all will go to the same spot until the first 2 destroy the wall, at this time the 2-3 WBs re-target from where they are, and usually, hopefully, they will be closer to the inner buildings behind the walls and go in. This works for me from time to time but you have to be aware of where the enclosed buildings are.

I usually bring 8 WBs, I'm TH8, i will open the outside wall for both Golems using 2 WBs each, then pick one to go in further and use the rest of the WBs on that golem and get my Pekkas and King in behind them. A rage will quickly open walls too, usually i drop a rage on the CC and it also helps takes out the next wall to get to the core.

Practice on multiple bases, it is not the easiest attack but is a lot of fun.
