I posted in clan wars thread that we r in a war against 6 th10s, we have 0. We have 5 th9s and our lowest 2 players r matched against 2 th lvls above them. If these kind of match ups r here to stay, how about giving th9s a freeze spell? I feel it would help lvl the playing field somewhat. I'm not talking about giving more spells to th9s just giving them access to freeze
Or you could upgrade to th10 to unlock the spell to help you for wars. Or wait and enjoy less harsh loot penalties and deal with unfair war matchups.
Supercell considered at which TH to add freeze spells. They know more about the game meta than either of us, they put it at TH10 for a good reason.
I'm not going to th10 because I don't believe in rushing, and if I'm going to b penalised for that in clan wars, then I'm merely trying to make a suggestion to create balance rather than just 'dealing' with it.
So you want the benifits of being th10 without any of the drawbacks of being th10? Because that's what your asking for.Quote:

The game needs reasons to encourage players to be TH10, Freeze spell is one of those things.
I'm asking for one spell lol not all the benefits of th10 without upgrading. Ok I'll go sit in a cnr and hope that our next war we get matched against a bunch of th8s. Cause that will b real challenging ... Not.
I think the main problem is there isn't a good reason behind the idea other than I want this.
th9s get jump spell as a th8 I would love to have that for some raids
10s get infernos and freeze spells which tend to balance each other out somewhat
It shouldn't be easy for a th9 to beat a th10 unfortunately due to clan wars that is what you face occasionally.
I think the balance of the game is fine and don't see any reason for th9 to get freeze.
