I really want to upgrade to TH8 :(

I only said max barracks, NOT collectors.

Once my walls were done I upgraded, otherwise you are wasting gold potential.

this is another reason why, I don't want to rush. I farm in the 1200-1400 right now and do just fine...not sure what going to TH8 will do to my farming.....

is it really a lot worse farming at TH8 or just stay around 1200-1400 trophies?:confused:

Yes, you can stay there and farm at TH 8. Loot is not very bad at TH 8 and you are more than ready. The upgrade times don't magically cuange, so you had might as well go ahead so you can dump gold on walls in the meantime. Your base makes this an easy call to me. The forumers can be a bit harsh with the maxxing at times and tend to overstate the impacts to a degree. You are ready.

theres a loot penalty when you go to town hall 8, youll get 25% less loot than you did at town hall 7 from town hall 6 and 7 players. the good loot your making now off of other people with town hall 7's will change, so remember, be patient and upgrade everything possible because once you upgrade your town hall to 8, you cant go back.

TH 8 only has a 10% penalty against TH 7s. They will still be the main source of income.

I thought the loot penalty was only if I attacked a TH 2 lower then my current TH? Where are you getting the 10%?

max out the entire base, every inch. lol. you will regret going to 8 if you dont do so otherwise.

I don't remember which update changed the penalties, but they have been like that for a few months now.
