Please do something about this. There are so many players in my defense log I simply cannot revenge because they are permanently online. I've tried different times of the day, and clicking revenge button solid for 5 minutes, nothing works.
I think you should just remove this player online kludge for the best fix. Either you've got a shield or you haven't!
Nobody is permanently online, theres a 6 hr limit in place and after 6hrs, you get kicked off for 5-10 min. I bet this guy lives in the same timezone, and happens to play during the same time as you, for an extended period of time. So you can't revenge. Revenging a farmer can be hard, they get sheilds so quick.
Every now & then you come across a player using mod or ♥♥♥♥ to either keep them online or keep them barching - those players you can tell, storages are full yet they still go out raiding. Its a known issue among players. my only advice is forget about the revenge. You're waiting on basically a 5 minute window to revenge in a 12hr time frame.Quote:

doesn't matter if he is using the h@cks or not, being online for 6hrs is being online for 6hrs, I've done it many times I don't use such programs. Whether or not they used a mod, is irrelevant, you can't call out every player staying on for long periods of time a h@cker, we really don't know what this guy is up to.Quote:

I give up trying to revenge attack which is a shame. Any half decent base either has a shield or the user is online. For me it almost seems pointless to have a revenge system.

The feeling of loss from an attack has a strong psychological effect, despite the logic behind the true loss of the matter. It is a strong human motivator that easily overrides logic. Stories and movies revolve around such emotions. When attacked, your base and your hard earned stolen loot is taken by someone else. It is your pride and feeling of your base being violated that overrides the logic of the fact you lost... 1-3 raids worth of work. Raids that take 20 mins to 40 mins each, over who knows how many is done a day.Quote:

lol, now I'm going to be raided again because I broke my 16 hour shield about 15 hours early. Oh well, my revenge list is getting used up, and I'm always entertained by people usually failing to 'win' vs my base. I say 'fail to win', since honestly, taking one of my overfull storage buildings is a moderate win right there. But who cares, I don't. I raid and get more back, and the 'win' counts towards my achievement. Besides, revenge attacks are nice out of war challenges.
well mayb u r missing his offline window (th outside gets immediate shields most of the time)
mayb using a mod to keep online. (dont worry it will b costing him the battery like hell :-D)
and we must b sorry for him for being so lonely that he has no other friends and work to do. must b psycho :-D. ignore him. poor lad
That's why I kept checking my own target. He had a farming base, and I knew the next person had a very high chance of just Town Hall sniping him and giving him a shield, protecting that juicy loot of theirs.
Well, they have a 16 hour shield now, but they are 320+k gold and elixir, and 1.5k dark elixir poorer. :p Best counter raid yet!
Dont forget about xmod..it keep player online as long as xmod is running

Actually, until someone programs the hàck to also collect resources as well, you can tell how long they have been online, but not 'online'. The guy I attacked had to have been 'off line' with that keep-active pinger for 3 hours and 30 minutes. How could I tell? They had several low level resource buildings, like a lvl5 mine, with uncollected loot.Quote:

Never mind. I'm likely wrong, since now that I remember it, thier Dark Elixir storage and Gold Storage was to capacity; and I now that I check the replay, thier collectors were emptied. >.<; Woops!
I'm so used to seeing 'full' storages, that weren't technically full at all, that I COMPLETELY forgot that they couldn't collect those resources, even if they wanted to! So really, they could not collect thier gold for at least 3½ hours, until the after my revenge attack on them.Even longer for thier Dark Elixir, since both level 1 drills were full as well!
I admit my mistake and will move on. Lol Disregard my argument. :p

The defense log holds 30 entries, each, assuming not a revenge attack themselves, giving one attack back. For the past week or so I now have used 15 out of 30 entries. All of them dragon attacks. These dragons take one and a half hours to prep, and three rage spells take two and a quarter hours to make. I gem none of them. I just prep at night while bored, and click each revenge button until a nice, loot fat base shows up from the clouds. Then back out, visit, plan, then go back to the battle prep, and raid. Sometimes I prep the night before and check in the morning.
I don't know what the issue others are having with revenge attacks, but go right ahead, ignore the revenge feature! More attacks for me :p
