It would be nice to have the option to purchase shields that could last anywhere between 30 mins to 2 hours. this way you could keep from being attacked while training troops and making potions your next attack.

The long term shields they have available are either for when you have a lot of loot you don't want to lose and/or when you're going on vacation/ are busy for a day or two -- not meant to be used between raids.
You do realize other people beside yourself could do this as well, right? If everyone was purchasing shields like that so they could take a break, no one would ever be available to attack.Quote:

I like it. Unless the gem cost was crazy expensive, I'd buy short shields for those times when something unexpected comes up but I know I'll be back shortly. Just more opportunities for SC to make a little off their game, too, so win-win. =)
