Disband Clan Button?

It seems like this would lead to more bad things than good. I mean, it's very helpful, but how often would it need to be used?

Disbanding it wont make it magically come back if he starts again. There is no reason to disband a clan unless you are trolling.

Really, I don't know why he did not pick whoever his most active/effective co leader was, promote him into the role, and leave. Much less work and maybe the other guys did still want to go on with it.

Yes. I agree with this completely.

Either leave the clan and t it flounder, or kick everyone out yourself.
You only have to do this once in your entire career of the game.

Kicking the whole clan just because you don't want to be in it is just plain selfish. Leave, and let them enjoy the clan.
