Disband Clan Button?

The other day my friend told me to kick everyone out of his clan as he wasn't playing the game anymore. So then I had to go through and kick the 47 people in his clan. Do you think It would be easier to have a disband button only available for the leader?

This could be downside to this, promoting random people to leader (Why would someone do that?)

I actually love this idea. It could be really useful.

The incidents of an accident or regrettable use of this button would be greater than the times it is actually necessary to kick everyone out of the clan.

Really, I don't know why he did not pick whoever his most active/effective co leader was, promote him into the role, and leave. Much less work and maybe the other guys did still want to go on with it.

For security they could make it so you have to type CONFIRM, like when you change accounts

If he's not playing anymore he should just leave the clan and forget about it, what on earth was the point of kicking everyone?

Maybe for in the future If he wants to come back to the game? Idk I need to ask him
Just thought It would be a handy feature to have.

How often do people disband clans? I'd have to guess extremely rarely. (Besides, if a leader leaves a clan, the top ranking co-leader becomes the leader, why not let the clan survive if the members are still active?) For those very few people who really want to disband their clan, there is already a way to do it (as you describe). Does SC really have to spend the time and effort to give these few people their own button? Note that every leader in the CoC universe will have to look at this button, and the vast majority will never use it.

In general, if SC implemented every request for "a button that does _____" then our screens would be completely filled with buttons. Part of the beauty of CoC is the elegance and simplicity of the UI which is a huge part of the reason for its success.

Ummm... just use the big red Leave button.

You are completely right. Perhaps there should be a button to hide and show the other buttons. Since different people will have their own thoughts which buttons are hidden and shown perhaps they should have several hide and show buttons for different button combos. There should also be a button to toggle the color of the buttons to whatever is least distractive to the person's eye.
