I dont understand why you'd sit on capped elixir. You use gold to upgrade walls. Blow elixir on armies/spells. Keep big DE upgrades for last. Seems pretty natural progression.

Nobody is forced to stay at TH8 and do skulls, you can go to TH9. Plenty of things to spend lix on there. So long as you have a few skulls, you can then make use of the lix sink when you get there.

Curious enough, he hasn't posted his own base. If he is hitting next 20-50 times to snipe townhalls, he may be nexting hundreds of bases each week. This is the only base that he can find and he doesn't post his own base. The OP's post shows nearly an equal amount of elixir and gold in his own storages. OP is townhall 9, so I am confused on his concern about the TH8 of another player unless all his owns walls are underleveled and can't use elixir. Hmmm....

It doesn't seem to be an issue.

Just need to work on none of the walls costing elixir now.

Very few TH8's are sitting on a large amount of elixir in the grand scheme of things. You can skip hundreds before finding one with swollen purple balls.

I think the solution to the lack of Elix at TH9 and 10 could be addressed further by increasing the league bonuses more to encourage people to play the game and try and win battles, rather than the current approach of bullying lower level THs for their loot.

It created a huge elixir depression in the economy.

Removing the stupid elixir for skulls was a small step in the right direction. There are still big problems outside of the gold/crystal leagues with bases showing very little elixir.

I did all my skulls before defenses. They are only 500k each. Man up and farm them with gold.

If the lix really bothers you then just put it next to your TH and make other players happy.

I have max defenses and max walls at TH9. Do you hear me complaining about all the gold I can't spend?
Instead I've put all my Gold storages outside and I'm offering 350k free gold on defense. That's the spirit!

Difference here is that you're maxed, just upgrade your TH. Most people are done with their TH level by the time their walls are maxed

And even though skulls aren't much compared to legos and lavas, it still takes a considerable amount of time.
