Just curious, often do you pay diamonds for Tom the helper boy?
I don't. At the moment I only use diamonds for expansion slots.
I think that's the best use of Diamonds, the only thing that you cannot get with Time ;)Quote:

I use him all the time, he gets me stuff I really need and has definitely helped me progress in the game. I think he is worth the diamonds IMO anyway
Once in a blue moon. When I need some vouchers to get another pet. :p But mostly I will only hire him for just a day. The only point which I dislike about him is the 2 hours napping time.
If I can find enough diamonds during the week ill get him on a Saturday and sometimes a Sunday if I find alot, I use him to quickly fill boat orders since I rarely get to do them the rest of the week and I only get him when I have no other use for the diamonds
Generally speaking, I think most players do so when they start playing. I also think that in the early stages of the game a player doesn't really have a sense of value of the diamonds yet. You get some diamonds when starting and the first achievements are pretty easy. Sometimes you also get a diamond for levelling up and you level up very quickly when you first start playing. Therefore you think diamonds are earned pretty easy and you don't think of the fact that you need the additional slots later in the game. I guess that is how I experienced it.Quote:

Mine are 1 day, 5 days, and 10 days. The prices are 15, 60 and 100 diamonds. My guess is it depends on how often you hire him. Maybe if you hire him often, the prices will go up, just like decorations. It's just my guess anyway. I have never hired him since it was free back then. The cost of hiring Tom in my farm are the same as Frozensoul. I will hired him for a day for 15 diamonds at most. Just need him to run and get me some jewellery and metal bars for the vouchers. I'm saving for the last black cat. :o
I used to but it became to expensive to do so
But has anybody an idea, why supercell split that up? Testing with Tom is over, i thougt.
