I did TH9 before max ATs, Teslas, and walls. I'm mixed on how I feel about it.
I regret not maxing Teslas, as I highly underestimated them (they were lvl3). I also regret not having max upgraded units. Its more time I have to spend waiting on the upgrade factory that I should have been doing at th8.
I don't regret getting the AQ though. I don't regret the 2nd DE drill (I did the th9 upgrade prior to the update allowing th8 to have 2nd DE drill).
I find the game more addictive now at th9, so I guess it kept me going strong on the game. I was feeling the grind pretty bad at th8.
