Elixir Walls (I'm a TH 9 with all legos)

Ok so guys first of all I do agree that allowing the elixir upgrade on walls 8 and below was a bad idea for the economy. BUT I remember my TH 8 stage with flooded elixir storages, unable to do something but watch it disappear.

Yes it's true there are a lot of things you can do:
- Train expensive armies at night
- Donate troops in Clan Wars
- Leave your elixir storages outside for TH sniping

But these measures arent efficient, if youre an active farmer because if you play all day you cant always follow the previous measures. If youre in the middle of your spare time with full elixir storages you wont start training expensive and long-training armies. What if youre not in a war or its not prep day? And because youre a hardcore farmer your gold storages must be filled and you wont constantly break shields just because theres a flood of elixir.

Soo how can we benefit both parts? Both defender and raider?
Im just gonna focus on THs 7 and 8 because thats where is mainly the problem.
THs 7 have a 16% of available loot and a cap of 250 k elixir. So that means that they must have at least ~1.5M elixir to reach the cap.
THs 8 have a 14% of available loot and a cap of 300 k elixir. So they must have at least ~2.1 M elixir to reach the cap.

Nothing new so far. The idea is simple: You can spend elixir on walls ONLY once youve passed your cap.

If a person is having this trouble hes probably wanting to cap his walls so lets focus on those in each th:
A TH 8 would need to have ~2.6 M elixir AT LEAST to upgrade a wall (since level 8 walls cost 500k).
A TH 7 would need to have ~1.7 M elixir AT LEAST to upgrade a wall (since level 7 walls cost 200k).

So, I think this could be useful for both parts, TH 7 and 8 can get rid of their excess elixir while still being raidable :D

Do not agree? My other idea is that once your storages are nearly full, during matchmaking no matter the available loot of the defender, you could not steal more than what your elixir storages can hold. Ive posted this idea before but for some reason people didnt like/care about it.

You can see both are ways to prevent this elixir disappear into nothing.

P.S. Ive been in crystal and masters league and yes the elixir is dry there. Some people always come up with the argument saying that I should go there so that I simply ♥♥♥♥. THs 8 and 7 farming in crystal league? Sure bro... Im a TH 9, but I support THs 8 and 7. Also I think this is a good measure to prevent an elixir economy crisis!
P.S. 2 I wrote the title in that way so at least you know Im not a whiner that wants his elixir wall upgrade brought back without thinking in the economy lol.

No. I want to be able to dump all my elixir out of the game, and this doesn't allow me to do that. I don't care about the economy, and I'm not a TH7 or TH8 anymore so I don't want them to be able to have a way to use their elixir that otherwise goes to waste in overflowing storages. As a TH9 I can exploit the current system even if I don't have all skull walls by spending a few hundred thousand gold to get a skull wall and then proceed to dump 4M elixir that I don't need into getting that wall to lava, and you're trying to curtail this by not letting me remove all my elixir from the game. I realize that I'm messing up the economy for TH10s by doing this but I don't care because I HATE TH10s.

Would make the grind easier when its already easy and harder when its already hard.

Anyone who has pushed to Master or Champion would care about the elixir shortage.

My subject says it all....there isn't a problem with town hall 8s having full elixir storages if you're done with elixir then you're just done. I mean you're going to get raided that's the point of the game...honestly I'm team take the elixir walls out completely..too much complaining about it

They shouldn't take it away completely, I still have lots of walls to do at TH9. Maybe they can remove it for TH10s though so I can finish my walls by attacking storages of both TH8s and TH10s, and then when I upgrade to TH10 it will be a good idea around that point to remove it for TH9s but allow it for TH10s again. Just my opinion.

Ok, this just looks like a childish complain. You dont care about the economy and you hate THs 10... good for you. The game is not centralized in you either, Im just trying to give my idea and please as many users as possible.
Also this only applies to walls level 8 and below. If you wanna spend all your elixir on a lego/lava wall its ok, thats how the current system is.

The problem is that every time a TH 7/8 attacks with full storages, it shortages the availability of elixir for the attacker so yes there is a problem. Yes youre gonna get raided... every 12 hours? During that time how much elixer is being lost?

Im partially in that team, taking elixir walls out COMPLETELY isnt good.

TH7 has absolutely no need for elixir walls. It was so easy to max them using only gold.

TH8 was harder but still doable. I was about 2/3 way through skull walls when they allowed elixir to be used. I felt like it was an unneeded change but accepted it because it allowed me to finish my walls a couple weeks earlier.

TH9 I see elixir as almost a necessity for lego walls+

I am 3 weeks into TH9 and I have no need for elixir already except for research which takes 10 days minimum.

Seriously - TH9 buildings take roughly 160mil gold and like... 15 mil elixir. TH9 needs elixir for walls. Others don't.

I see elixir as not a necessity for any TH level walls. It should be a grind, it's the endgame resource sink for gold.

TH9 buildings require over 40M elixir (army camps, spell factory, lab, oil drills, oil storage). That doesn't include dark barracks. TH9 does not need elixir for walls, neither do TH10.

Now we're at a stalemate. Neither of us are wrong, b/c we are using entirely subjective arguments (with the exception of the required TH9 elixir upgrades you stated which actually was wrong). But we have different conclusions. Use more concrete arguments to say why you want TH9s and TH10s to have it but not TH8s (which is inherently selfish).
