Elixir Walls (I'm a TH 9 with all legos)
Ok so guys first of all I do agree that allowing the elixir upgrade on walls 8 and below was a bad idea for the economy. BUT I remember my TH 8 stage with flooded elixir storages, unable to do something but watch it disappear.
Yes it's true there are a lot of things you can do:
- Train expensive armies at night
- Donate troops in Clan Wars
- Leave your elixir storages outside for TH sniping
But these measures arent efficient, if youre an active farmer because if you play all day you cant always follow the previous measures. If youre in the middle of your spare time with full elixir storages you wont start training expensive and long-training armies. What if youre not in a war or its not prep day? And because youre a hardcore farmer your gold storages must be filled and you wont constantly break shields just because theres a flood of elixir.
Soo how can we benefit both parts? Both defender and raider?
Im just gonna focus on THs 7 and 8 because thats where is mainly the problem.
THs 7 have a 16% of available loot and a cap of 250 k elixir. So that means that they must have at least ~1.5M elixir to reach the cap.
THs 8 have a 14% of available loot and a cap of 300 k elixir. So they must have at least ~2.1 M elixir to reach the cap.
Nothing new so far. The idea is simple: You can spend elixir on walls ONLY once youve passed your cap.
If a person is having this trouble hes probably wanting to cap his walls so lets focus on those in each th:
A TH 8 would need to have ~2.6 M elixir AT LEAST to upgrade a wall (since level 8 walls cost 500k).
A TH 7 would need to have ~1.7 M elixir AT LEAST to upgrade a wall (since level 7 walls cost 200k).
So, I think this could be useful for both parts, TH 7 and 8 can get rid of their excess elixir while still being raidable :D
Do not agree? My other idea is that once your storages are nearly full, during matchmaking no matter the available loot of the defender, you could not steal more than what your elixir storages can hold. Ive posted this idea before but for some reason people didnt like/care about it.
You can see both are ways to prevent this elixir disappear into nothing.
P.S. Ive been in crystal and masters league and yes the elixir is dry there. Some people always come up with the argument saying that I should go there so that I simply ♥♥♥♥. THs 8 and 7 farming in crystal league? Sure bro... Im a TH 9, but I support THs 8 and 7. Also I think this is a good measure to prevent an elixir economy crisis!
P.S. 2 I wrote the title in that way so at least you know Im not a whiner that wants his elixir wall upgrade brought back without thinking in the economy lol.
