Assuming maximum loot you can get from storages is 199k, and you get the fourth storage at Th9, is it right to say I need to have at least a level 6 storage which holds 50 000 resource capacity to split up the maximum loot of 199k a raider can get or is it actually proportionate, I need a higher level storage to make sure its 50k loot of the maximum loot is 100% in it?
No, a level 6 does not do that and I say that with certainty. This is a very murky area, though, and I can't really give you much other concrete information, but my guess is that a level 9 storage is when 50k can finally be stolen from it.
Edit: Ok, I will go a little more in depth on my theory. I did some testing when I was leveling up my third storage (at Th 8) and the numbers I got for that seem to indicate some sort of cap placed the amount that can be raided from underlevele storages. I, at least alone, couldn't get enough data to say for sure what the caps were based off of, but it didn't seem to be proportional to the capacity of the individual storage or proportional to the capacity of that storage as a percentage of total storage. The only real guess I have is that Supercell made up some numbers and capped them there in these situations. It's not a good theory, and may very well not be true, but that's the only thing I can think of that is realistic and not ruled out.
It doesn't work like that, unless you only have <200k resource at all times.
I'll illustrate an example:
Suppose you have 2 gold storage, one level 10 (1 million capacity) and one level 11 (2 million capacity)
If you have under 2 million gold, both gold storage will fill up equally and if someone raids, they'll find 100k/100k in each one.
If you have over 2 million gold, it'll be proportionate. Thus if you carry 3 million gold, then they'll find 133k in the level 11 one, and 66k in the level 10 one.
I'm fairly certain that that is not true. After the cap is reached (when amounts stored surpass 1 million), nothing changes when additional loot is added.Quote:

What I said has nothing to do with the cap. And I'm fairly certain that is how it works because during TH 7, I did exactly that - kept one storage at level 10 and one at 11. When I was "maxed" (3M), I would only lose 66k when someone took the level 10 one, but when I found myself in the 800k-2M range, they always took 100k from the level 10 one.Quote:
