Upgrading Walls

EDIT (1/29/15): Wow! 2k views! :D Anyway, I'm at 52 walls to go till all Level 6. Thanks for everyone's help!

Hey everyone,

Currently I'm a TH7 with maxed defense. Collectors, barracks and troops are another story.

However, at this point I think I'm ready for an all-wall spree. My walls are in really bad shape, with mostly Level 5, 20% Level 4 (:eek::eek:) and a couple Level 6. Any tips on how to farm for walls? Troop composition? etc.

As the max wall is purple (Level 7), I'd like to at least get to 50% pink, 50% purple.

Barch your way to farming walls on TH 6s in Silver Leagues. Boost up your barracks & you'll be able to upgrade around 40-50 Gold walls to Pink in one boosted session.

Just use Barch for farming walls because it's cheap and effective!

Okay. Right now I'm sittting at 1200 trophies.. I can't really get into storages with barch..

Try to go up to 1400. Normally there are a lot of idle villages at Gold III.

Sounds good. Only disadvantage I see is getting ransacked by Level 80-90s when I'm saving for a big elixir troop upgrade.

Problem For your league

Keep your lost trophy because if u go gold then u will lost defence & money. we want coin for upgrade Wall.you need all boost collecter do as Gem.

Keep one builder open for walls...boost barracks. Before the league bonus increase, when I was TH7, Silver II-Silver I was the place to farm. Afterwards, it appears Gold III is the league to be for TH7-Th8.

Yeah, you will get raided by TH8s...it's just how it is. TH9s will 100% you with barch, esp if your elixir storages are full.

You should finish in no time.

Why do u want to get to storages?? Find those collector raids and u would easily make one million a day easily.

In your situation I would put all my builders except one on my collectors and dump all excess gold in to walls until they are purple. It won't take as long as might think.

One comment: I need to get into storages because sometimes I might come across a base with 250k available but it's all in the storages. Also, at this point I'm not finding any real inactive bases with good loot in collectors. I think I will push to Gold 3 and get the inactives while using my other 2 builders (3 builders? I'm 40 gems away from a fourth) on mines.

Barch is really the best specially when farming for gold or elixir. It's because of its cost effectiveness and the amount of time you needed for it to finish. :)

Snipe TH to Champion. Once you go Crystal or higher, the loot bonus will fill up your storages in no time.
Keep one builder free for walls.
Get the Crystal, Master and Champion gems.
Kill several birds at one time.

I don't understand how "wall farming" is any different than regular farming. It's all resources, right?

Thanks everyone. I'm farming really well and making about 300k per day with barch (120a-76b-2wb). Very successful. Sitting at 1200-1300 trophies.

Collector raids give around 250k of each in one raid, I guess he'd make more than that by collector raids in one day :P

You guys don't understand, in silver 1 there's almost no collector raids above 100k. Once I get to Gold 3 we'll see.

If you have the elixer to spare you can break bases with Giants and Heals because you can't use elixer for walls yet anyway.

How are you getting ransacked for elixir? You raid more in an hour than is lost in 1 raid. I stick my TH in the corner and get sniped more than anything, especially if you have no gold in storage. It's all dumped into the walls.

300k per day is terrible for raiding. I hit storages and collectors for 200-300k for one raid.

I just had your same problem and it took me about a week to do. I have been on crystal lll since I was a high upgraded TH 6 and I found loads of 300k raids out if collectors and mines there... You should definitely push to Crystal.

Also the bonus is 35k of each and 100 DE for TH 7 so that will definitely add up over time.

It it was probably easier for me since I waited till everything was maxed but my composition is: 15 giants, 7 wall breakers, 4 wizards, 48 archers, 11 goblins, 36 barbs with a level 5 Barb King to maximize what I get out of barbs and 2 healing spells with 1 rage. I have used this comp since I became a TH 7 and it works really well if you know how to use it. I get easy 3 stars to any TH 7 base and I usually 3 star the inactive TH 8, 9, and 10 bases no problem.

I Highly recommend this composition to all TH 7 players!

Stay at 1000-1100 tons of collector bases their ! Just barch and only raid 150k+ collectors or easy base

If you're only getting 300k of loot a day, you're doing something wrong.
I get that every raid. Ok, well, almost every raid.
Set your TH outside in a corner.
Gem your barracks up to speed cooking time.
Start your new army cooking before attacking. With gemmed barracks and a barch army, it will be done by the time you get back from attacking.
Before you log off, build as many walls as you have gold for. Don't leave any extra gold behind. This will reduce losses from looting.
Don't concern your self with trophy levels. If you can, try to get the 50% just so you can get the bonus, but don't worry if it doesn't happen.
Snipe THs when ever they are available. It's free loot. Drop an archer or two and let them kill it. Don't waste a bunch of troops on it.
I actually prefer all archer over barch but your results may vary. I'm currently a TH9 with all skull walls that I farmed as a TH8, so I've been there. Working on my lvl9 walls now.
