Barracks produce troops with gold also

Supercell has stated before that gold is for Defense and elixir for Offense

Why not just allow upgrading defence buildings with elixir. Then lets have the builder huts bought with gold. And why not have dark troops cost gold too? Seems good to me :rolleyes:

On topic-> I think this is a horrible idea. The same reason elixir and gold converting I ruled out should apply here- they are seperate things that are used for different non-overlapping purposes (which was breached by elixir walls, so consider that a gift).

He's right. Elixir walls were a gift. Don't take what you have for granted.

I don't see why you would waste your gold like that, elixir is much more abundant, and gold is not.
