The Impossible is probably the best war base I've ever used.
Dokugan has touched on some of the other popular ones, like Roundhouse and Ataraxia. But I got three-starred by dragons on the first try with Roundhouse and put it on the shelf.
I've had a clan-mate use Ataraxia for the past couple of months, and it is indeed a mixed bag. Very Unorthodox layout, and capable of catching attackers off-guard and look stupid. Very solid anti-hog/giant ring. Looks very weak to GoWiPe, but you'll be hard-pressed to find many TH8 who practice GoWiPe [their loss!].
However, I've seen it picked apart by dragons when the attacker actually knows what they're doing. Still a very unique base that can provide fun replays of failed attacks.
But The Impossible is, in my experience, hands-down the best war base I've used. Holds even dragons and hogs alike to just one star. I have battle logs available from the last couple of wars if anyone is interested.

Upgrade those air defenses and storages for dragons attacks at TH8. Most of those pictured above look good.

This base has held up well so far against hogs and dragons both. Also note that it still gave a 24/7 war clan that preferred hogs a lot of trouble despite knowing where all the traps were.
Additionally, I was using the trophy version of Impossible instead of the clan wars version and modified the core a bit.
This is the first I've heard of this one. I'm on my phone so I may not be seeing it but do you have a link to images or a YT video of the build? Is it on cocbuilder?Quote:
