It might be a nice function for th levels 1-6 but once you get past that point it starts costing 200,000, 500,000, etc per wall even if you manage to fill all your storages full it simply will never be enough to upgrade all at the same time... so it would become a useless function and I promise the grind on lower levels doesn't take as long as you think especially once you hit th 8 and beyond
u should b asking "buy one get one free" . :-D. man its already taking 3 million per wall. my heart sinks at single wall and u r asking for all at once :-D.

I understand what you are saying. You want to be able to upgrade only a row of same level walls, e.g. a row of gold walls, then 1 crystal wall. If you select the gold walls and click "select row", then it would show only the gold walls to be upgraded. This is used in Battle for the Galaxy, i find it extremely useful.

You can select a row and un-select the wall of the different level and then upgrade it. :D
