So we have one leader, two Co's and a lot of great clan members who all deserve a rank above elder but too many Co's equals a lot of chaos a lot of undermining decisions and I have even seen a rogue Co kick apart a clan. How do we reward our members for all their hard work and loyalty besides here's elder, congrats your not a member anymore. Please add a new rank to help us maintain a better chain of command.
This kinda annoys a bit tbh. Co-leader is meant to be a rank that you work your butt off to get. Elder being one of the stepping stones to getting that rank. The simple answer to this is to be careful who you promote. Be sure you trust that person.Quote:

I think 2 more ranks would be useful.
A "Guest" rank for people that first join. They are just there but not official members yet. They cant see all the clan info yet until they are promoted. No scouting traps or bases.
A "War Leader" rank. This would be the person who is in charge of war. They could send emails but retain all the other status of an Elder. Their focus would be on war. If more war tools were ever implemented they would be the one to have access to tag bases and devise a strategy. We do this now in a dirty way but it would be nice to give them a title for the war. Only 1 war leader for the clan, if nobody is selected then leader is it.
With a 50 man clan that's a lot of stress to put on so few ppl. So using a chain of command (Leader oversees Co's, Co's oversee elders, and elders oversee members) that's still a very large spread, and to add I use member rank as a probationary rank I use elder as a ppl we can count on for war rank. It would be nice to have one more rank to put those active, experienced and dependable players in , without handing over the keys to Co before they are trusted. (Which I see annoys you but rest at ease I wouldn't do that. I have just seen it happen)Quote:

I was going to jump in and say I don't like the idea...but I actually like the idea of a guest rank or something similar. Until people get the option to opt out of war I think that's a good idea. However, member elder and co leader are sufficient. You only need 2, possibly 3 co leaders. Co leader isn't a trophy or a badge, it's someone that helps you run the clan. An administrative assistant of sorts. Elder is a badge and is meant to signify you've earned respect and are a contributing player in the clan. Be more careful about who you promote and make them earn it. If elder and co leader mean nothing to you already, adding more titles will mean nothing as well.
