Why do people not use all archers?

I personally have never found barch to be that effective, the barbarians just get pounded by splash and I just end up with less archers.
Meanwhile I can get all the collectors of a base and 50% with only 100 archers and have them all done by the time I get back to the base as I filled all my barracks with archers.

Yet all I ever see anybody talk about when farming is barch barch barch! I've even had clan mates ask me why i'm using all archer.

Why is this?

I say give all archer collector sniping a go and tell me how it works out for you.

i use all archers cause i am more comfortable with archers then barch. its just style of raiding

Because if you come upon a base with collectors on the inside all archers isn't going to cut it with that splash damage, so you use the barbarian as distraction and meat shields so your archers are safe.

Barch is cheaper, faster to train and with a few WB can crack open a base to raid storages. Together adds up to more resources gained per hour.

Arch also requires no strategy and is very boring.

I personaly use Barch in lower-level farming (Silver) because there is a possibility for a three star with Barch... When I'm farming in high gold I use all arch... They say Barch is better because it is easier and faster, I think all arch is just a better style of raiding for me...

i deploy 10-15 of each at a time in two lines across the top and then the bottom.

I think it matters how often you alternate meat and range (barb and arch).

You can't really storage raid with all archers...you need some meat.

And with all arch..you can't optimize your BK's ability.

Once you come across max - high level th10's all arch if lucky will get you to about 40% max

it's kinda viable in its own terms, but not that effective

the 5 extra seconds difference between barbs and archers will add up, so it takes a little longer

also barbs are a bit cheaper,

Well i use 50 arch 5 giants and 5 wbs and rest goblins. Works really well

The problem I see with all archers is the mortar, especially now with four mortars. Find a base the same th as you with a maxed mortar and your archers are gone in one hit. With barbs you will be able to smash through a few walls if you need to, not just hit the outside.

Hi Guys,

If you add a Golem, you can use all Archers, or, if you want to attack two multi infernos, you also need Barbs. The best Ratio is about 70 Barbs 1 Golem Rest Archers for Max camps. You can two star a fully maxed bases with this and it costs far less than the loot bonus alone !

You can also do it at TH8 and TH9. TH8 Is harder as you have no Queen, you will not beat another fully Maxed TH8. However you can beat most of the TH8 and TH9 bases you find around as they are nowhere close to Maxed

I never use all archers attack because it seems to me are a very weak attack, unless you are going TH7 or below. Archers has the lowest hitpoint (correct me if I'm wrong), why go full archers without tanking? They are vulnerable even to giant bombs. For ranged attack, I would prefer my maxed minions anytime. And full minions rush is so much more powerful and fun to watch than archer rush. Of course, that only if you are DE rich. I only use archer because they are cheap, and to kill CC troops. Always as a companion troops and never my core troop.
Tank your archers. Full archers attack is silly. I saw a lot of replay of how my base defended against a swarm of archers. Only good to reach my collectors and never could reach my storage. Even for maxed archers.

Not all collectors will be on the outside, hence why barch is the way to go. Barbs to distract while archers clean everything up. They could be in one layer of wall or even more. Barch is also cheaper and has a higher dps.
