clan war matchmaking fix, in depth.

The reason we get matched against 2-5 TH 10 is explainable. My clan policy is current TH must be maxed out before you can move on. Our TH 9s are near max and the TH10's we face are rushed to a certain extent. So clearly the emphasis is not 100% on town hall. Yes, at times we have faced tougher clans and managed to pull out a win, at the same time we have faced easy clans. In the end, the clan is as good as its leaders.

But that isn't what this would achieve though is it? You would just have people fighting inactive higher ths. What you want would only be possible if it was an additional requirement after matching someone of equal base strength. Guess what that would do to the time it takes to find a match?

The time of match finding wouldnt change coz its purely on base score

Exactly. All NBA players are professionals. They have all proven that they can win time and time again when facing weaker opponents (back in high school and college). There is nothing that prevents a complete loser that has never gotten a war star in his life from facing someone with 500+ war stars. The current system completely ignores player ability. Look at what I said above basically. What you are suggesting would be seen as the sports equivalent of a handicap. By letting someone start with a higher score just because they suck. In clan war terms what would happen is your lack of skill would be compensated by giving you higher ths. As much as I hate the stupid sports analogies its not a very sportsmanlike thing to give one team an advantage like that is it?

What it comes down to is casual players want to face other casual players. People who dont have the time and/or dedication want to face other people like them. The clans that do have the members that practice and learn and do have the time to improve are beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of the clans that have guys that just log on every once in awhile. Im not bashing that because I know people have lives outside of here but if you arent willing to put in the time it takes to win then honestly you shouldnt go to war. I understand people want to have the full game experience but almost every avenue you could take at the moment would hurt the harder working more dedicated clans. Honestly, if you cant get better because of whatever reason dont put yourself in the arena. Farm and attack normally and avoid the wars. And honestly, the system should FAVOR the more dedicated player. Just my opinion but war should be for the people putting in the time to win. Not the guy who logs on on friday to use both attacks in war then you might see him on sunday afternoon.

You're not going to convince anyone if you don't articulate your ideas properly. I for one am not convinced that you responded properly to what I said but it may simply be that I misunderstood your broken English.

I should have been more clear, when I say town hall level I really mean the overall level of all upgrades including town hall, defenses, walls, and troops. My point was that how upgraded a base is, is less important than how dedicated and talented the players are. Mismatches have less to do with the upgrade level of people's bases than player skill. That is why we have so many clans with huge numbers of wins and very few losses. They are being mismatched against clans that are far below their ability (which is what is happening to you).
